I've been fiddling with various settings to try and recreate the error and apparently I can't so my best suggestion for the time being is to try a fresh copy of the framework and see if that solves the problem. |

I just downloaded the latest version of Maptool (maptool-1.3.b91) and the latest version available of the Kanto Framework that I could find, and I'm getting the exact same errors. The first time I click something, it works. When I try anything else (switching tabs, bringing up what a move does, looking up a second pokemon in the pokedex, ect.) the error pops up, and then the window closes. Am I using the wrong version of Maptool maybe? Or uh... the wrong version of Java? |

Hadn't thought about that actually. The framework is built in build 87 using java 6 |

Some of my friends have been getting that error as well, we're using b89. The weird part is it only comes up sometimes and we have no idea why. |

Okay, so, grabbed build 87, uninstalled Java 8, installed Java 6, aaaaaand... no more problems seem to be happening! ![]() I'll update if anything changes, of course. Also going to test later builds, just to see if they work. |

Later builds seem to work just fine. Tried to install Java 6 and Java 8 at the same time, and specify that I wanted to use Java 6 for MapTool... that didn't go so well. On the bright side, now we've narrowed down that error's source, so huzzah!

So, this may sound silly, but I want to use this program (it looks like it's really useful) but have no idea where to find it. Could someone help me out Please? I have six players that want me to gm a game, but the paperwork aspect looks... daunting. *EDIT* So, spent some time using the search function on the site, actually found a link for it. Feel free to delete this post. Thanks ahead of time for everything! Edited by xenowolff, Jan 25 2015, 03:43 PM.
