Theme Music is now mandatory

The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient.

A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards.

"I can always try. And if it all fails, we can just bust down a door."

Inei easily gets open the door Dusty signifies; this one's easier to get into.

This new room is like a lobby; a few short tables with cushions next to them, styled like some kind of old-timey inn. Some lanterns in the walls cast a dim light across the room, which has two wooden doors, one on the back wall, and one on the back of the right wall... in the direction where the Spiritomb would have gone.

"Hey look over there! I think that's where that Pokémon went."As Dusty walks over to the door, he gives the room a quick scan and then turns the handle.

The room is devoid of Pokemon... in fact, it's devoid of a lot of things. Eerily ordinary.

The door is unlocked, but as Dusty turns the handle, he noticed a wire on the handle... which runs to the wall on his left, into the wall itself, which has a small hole above where the wire runs into. Too small to fit a hand into.

"Interesting... I have no idea what this is for. Any ideas, Inei? Unless Inei tells him otherwise, Dusty will disregard the hole and open the door.

"IT'S A TRAP!!"

Inei immediately tries to disarm the trap, telling Dusty to:"Crouch low, don't open the door yet, just get low, and when I tell you to, open the door."

With some fiddling, Inei manages to disarm the trap... the plate covering the mechanism comes off, revealing some kind of arrow-firing contraption.

"Phew...ya almost looked like Unovan Cheese there buddy."

Says a slumping Inei, heaving a heavy sigh. The Cyndaquil on his shoulder had provided light as he worked.

Sweat trickles down Dusty's forehead as Inei works. "Well... uh... thanks." Dusty says, his voice trembling. "Is it safe to go in, now?" Dusty heads in.

Dusty heads into the next room... and finds a pedestal exactly the same as the one in the other room. This time, the wall depicts murals of Unown glyphs. They follow no feasible pattern; they're arranged completely randomly.

The Spiritomb is in the center, and seems to be resting. It doesn't notice the interlopers.
