Theme Music is now mandatory

The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient.

A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards.

"Of course! It's called Hoka and is a Cyndaquil," replies Inei as he retrieves the emptr Pokeball. He then releases the young Cyndaquil and holds it's back flame to each of the candles, hopefully lighting them.

As Inei lights up the candles, the room gets progressively brighter... by the time the final candle is lit, the stars far outshine the black background.

After a few seconds of every candle lighting up, the flames suddenly turn a deep violet, and a mass of purple energy begins forming in the center... a circular mass with flecks of green. Soon enough, a face forms on it; a rather sleepy Spiritomb is formed.

Inei reacts within seconds, hurling the Great Ball at the spirit pokemon, his new chosen Quarry.

Completely surprised at the Pokemon's appearance, Dusty almost falls on the floor. A lot of spooky things can happen in caves, but nothing like this has ever happened to him. Watching Inei's ball miss the Ghost, Dusty reacts similarly, launching a Basic Ball at the specter.

The ball phases right through the bottom of the Spiritomb; Dusty's ball is a hit, but somehow bounces off of its foggy exterior, failing to trigger.

The Spiritomb yawns, but as the ball hits its face, it seemingly condenses and quickly warps backwards... through a wall. That was some pretty fast movement for a Spiritomb.

"Whuh-huh? Where'd it go, Inei? Did you see?" Dusty then remembers the Fast Ball that he bought earlier, "I bought this earlier and that ghost seemed fast. Think it'll work if we can catch up to it?"

"Maybe."

Inei races to the hallway and in the direction of the wall the haunt phased through.

Dusty follows close behind Inei, Para gliding beside him.

The hallway doesn't have an obvious way to follow the Spiritomb; maybe one of the rooms adjacent to the spacey room has a way behind the wall it phased through.

"Hmm... you think you can pick the next rooms lock, too?" Dusty is feeling pretty reliant on Inei, right now. He isn't exactly physically oriented, but he has a good gut. Traveling through tunnel after tunnel has helped him to intuitively understand natural architecture. Maybe that experience will come in handy now. "If I had to guess which one, however, I'd go with that one."
