Theme Music is now mandatory The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient. A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards. Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 9 2014, 12:02 AM.

Inei leads the way toward the Medical district, where the thief had been caught before... into the office, through the doors, into the hallway in the back. There's still plenty of locked doors on both sides of the long, narrow hallway, and the marks from the scuffle last night are still there. |

Inei will try to open some of the locked doors, somehow. Probably a mix of brute force and dexterity. [result]17&2:6:3:1,4d6,5,17&4d6+5[/result] Stealth to pick the locks. [result]12&3:4:4,3d6,1,12&3d6+1[/result] Perception If that doesn't work, he'll try to convince the Honblade to phase through the door and see if he can open it from the inside. |

These locks are old and rusty... Inei can get the lock open on one, but the door itself doesn't open all the way. The first door Inei tries opening is one with a star on the handle... the inside of the room looks all glowy and translucent. |

Jones makes his way back to the Smith easily; the route is muscle memory at this point. He's where he always his, pounding away, making barrels of tools and weapons. With a little more effort, Inei is able to force the door open... looks like the lock broke, though. The inside of this room is very glowy, to say the least. The walls and floor are all complete black, but also covered with spackles of bright white. It's like staring into deep space. There's also a large white circle on the top... presumably to represent the moon. Aside from the space mural, the only other thing in the room is a golden pedestal in the center, about a meter in diameter, with an mid-sized indent in the middle, as if to hold something. |
