Theme Music is now mandatory The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient. A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards. Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 9 2014, 12:02 AM.

Jones pants as he looks over his own fist with something between amazement and trepidation. Finally, he looks over at Inferno, the living wedge of ectoplasmic flames staring at his own new hands with astonishment; clenching and unclenching them, making short experimental jabs that left a dark smear of energy lingering in the air momentarily, and finally simply wiggling his new fingers. "Well... that was unexpected... Stefan, you up to checking any more of these cells, see if this key matches other doors? Or would you rather head back?" Even as he asks, Jones is pulling out a potion and handing it over to Inferno, who drinks the liquid greedily. |

Inei looks around, and starts to think for a while. Soldiers usually don't think about existence, but that Conkeldurr made him wonder if the human way was right, or if Pokemon knew a better way. He pets Nabikun while he thinks, the bird like creature makes chirping noises under the caress, and Inei continues his path onward. Inei put's his hand net away, it was already damaged, and decides to heft the bow for now. Inferno makes a grand show of spinning his hands together until they blur. When the blur stops, a dusky violet gem sits in one of his outstretched palms. Jones laughs a little, even as he passes over the Charcoal and take the gem, studying it intently. "Ghost Gem. One-shot power booster for ghost-type attacks. I think I can use it to make something a bit more valuable." Looking up at Inferno, he grins. "You've done excellently Inferno, but I think you should take a break for a little bit. Let some of the others stretch their appendages." The Haunter shrugs (in and of itself a novel experience for the mon) and returns to his pokeball. "Right then, let's see what's behind door number three, shall we?" With that he'll begin examining the other doors, but not before taking a look back inside the room the skeletons had come out of, checking to see if anything had changed. Inei wanders through the factories for a while... his blind walking eventually leads him around the living quarters. The warehouses have turned to tiny shacks, just big enough for one person to live in each. Many of the doors are shut, but one shack is suspiciously wide open. The skeleton room doesn't have much else in it... just a lot of bone powder and shattered limbs. Back in the main corridor, the doors seem to go on forever, with all manner of different locks... though the two come upon one lock that looks broken, like it was busted open. |

Jones gets a quick glimpse inside. This room doesn't look too terrible... an ordinary office. But it sounds like there's something moving inside... where Jones can't see it. He'll have to open the door quite a ways to get a glimpse, potentially exposing himself to whatever's in there. |
