Theme Music is now mandatory

The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient.

A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards.

(You're right in assuming that)

The two leave the morbid scene, and continue down the thin corridor. After a little bit, they manage to locate the door with the triangle keyhole... maybe this room won't be so bad?

Stefan follows, the dagger still in his hand and Krieger tagging along not far behind. He takes a look at each door, along with Jones, and tests them to see if one might be unlocked.

Jones steels himself and inserts the key into the lock, turning it and opening the door.

Jones looks inside the new room... and it only gets worse.

The innards of the room are lit by dim bulbs, and even more human skeletons are on the walls. Some hang from the walls by their wrists, and some slump on the ground with broken hands. Eugh.

In the center of the back wall is an incredibly shiny gem on a frame pedestal!

Jones looks over the grisly scene with distaste. "Let's search these poor bastards. Don't touch the gem though."

After searching the skeletons, Jones studies the gem, trying to determine what significance it has.

Stefan examines the skeletons, taking a close look at the broken hands in particular. Are they clearly broken intentionally? Are the fractures consistent with struggling against the chains? Can he glean any type of information from the bones?

There's nothing on the skeletons, no possessions.

The gem is a common make, but somewhat more ornate... the purple color denotes that it's a Ghost Gem. The significance is questionable, it's weird to have a gem just sitting out like this.

The hands show faint signs of struggling, but it seems more or less that the bones are intact. Their hands must have just slipped through the chains when the bodies began decomposing...

"I have no clue what happened here..." Ignoring the gem for now, Jones concentrates on the frame instead.

There's something familiar about this frame... like he's seen it in a movie once. (Edu:Tech)

Knowing that he's out of his depth for now, Stefan's attention turns back to his dagger, assumptions and connections beginning to form.

"There were dead pokemon with the dead body in the other room, and now all these captives here. Were people being harvested for something?"

He seems slightly distracted as he watches the eye of his dagger move about. Gram. Gram sounds like a good name. He watches Gram, wondering if they ghost might react to something beyond his grasp.
