Theme Music is now mandatory The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient. A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards. Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 9 2014, 12:02 AM.

Jones thinks about some ghost weapon things, and recalls a surprising amount of Ghost Weapons Stefan finds bits and pieces of broken swords and hammers, but nothing concrete. Looks like this place is bone-dry for that sort of thing. But he does find a small ball-peen hammer... better than nothing. Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 8 2014, 11:18 PM.

Jones looks up. "We need to find training weapons of some kind. According to what I can recall of Tobin's Spirit Guide, spirit weapons are generally born in weapons that have seen a lot of bloodshed. If the spirit dies; the weapon becomes mundane. But if the weapon is broken, the spirit dissipates, but can reform later if it can find another weapon to possess. One that hasn't seen combat would probably be ideal for..." Jones trails off, before digging into his pack. At the very bottom, he finds what he's looking for. The dagger that had been in that strange present that had been addressed to him. It had never seen combat, buried near the very bottom of the satchel. It seemed like it had been months since he'd even thought of it last. He holds it out, hilt first, to Stefan. "Here. Use this. I destroyed its last body, so it falls to me to replace it." Stefan knocks the dust off his hands and puts the shards of weapons in a pile with the small hammer as Jones begins to speak. His mood improves dramatically as Jones explains how spirit weapons work. "There's another option, then, I think." He indicates the broken blades, but accepts the dagger. "You said that there was a pokemon down here smithing away, didn't you? I'd imagine he'd run out of useful things to make by now. Do you think he would be willing to reforge an old blade or two? A brand new sword might even be safer than the dagger, or this little rock hammer. Even if its not, it would be a way to get the last spirit into something a bit more compliant and not leave it lying around for some other poor fool to run into. I'd guess you don't want to destroy your hammer to make the ghost more friendly, but I'd like to save the others if possible." |

Jones shrugs. "The Conkeldurr wasn't exactly smithing when I met him. He was making tools but he was simply joining two pieces together with some kind of natural glue that he was producing. I didn't get the details. Honestly I'm not sure he'd be too happy to know that we broke into this chamber either, seeing as we essentially released a bunch of ghost-types, which fighting types tend to have trouble with. And that knife I just handed you is pretty much brand new, and never really seen use; so it's as close to new-forged as you're going to get without actually making a weapon ourselves. Plus, well, if you let them know that this is a peace offering from me, it may make them a bit more tractable and willing to listen to you." |

Stefan strokes his chin for a moment. "Well, I wasn't planning on telling him we were poking around. . . And we are trying to remedy the situation. I see your point though." He scoops up the pieces and places them in his bag. "I'll see what I can do, and then we can tackle your task. If you still want help that is. . ." Dagger and hammer loose in his hand, Stefan descends the steps. |

It appears there's nothing much left in this place for Inei... just more furnaces. He proceeds out the door to a more open area, a sort of courtyard surrounded by lesser shacks and warehouses. While treading forward, he hears the clang of a dropped piece of metal; he takes cover, and soon the source reveals itself: a little Timburr holding a massive broken chunk of steel, waddling through the courtyard toward something... Stefan gets back into the weird cellar, and the twin weapons are still resting in the center. Not much time has passed, so the bow is still recuperating. |

Stefan slowly approaches the weapons. His palms are upturned together, the hammer and dagger resting in them as he tries to reach the cracked slab. With any luck, the weapons will permit him to place the potential vessels on the symbol. . . . |

Inei is stealthy enough to keep out of the Timburr's senses as it heads into a rather large warehouse. Inside, it appears to be bringing the scrap to... a daddy Conkeldurr with a tool belt. The big Conk takes the scrap metal, and plops it into a rather big furnace. Looks like he's melting down the scrap for his own use... The weapons don't move an inch. The dagger, however, shimmers in Stefan's hand just being near the symbol. |
