Theme Music is now mandatory The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient. A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards. Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 9 2014, 12:02 AM.

Jones is still dazzled from the flash, and misses the ball. The hammer is attempting to get free... (Combat DC12) The other weapons are similarly attempting to free themselves... the nails on the sword and bow are coming loose, and the flail is managing to find its way out of Stefan's pack, with a large eye on the haft. Inei silently makes his way through the factory's entrance, not disturbing the Geodude or Zubat. Eventually he finds an open building; from peering inside the door, it looks like a room full of forges and furnaces... perhaps for melting down unused equipment? |

Inei finds a shovel. It's dirty and looks coal-stained. He also finds a weird molten trail burned into the concrete floor... still warm (hot). |

Stefan suspects that these spirits are not purely malevolent. Perhaps they are just a little restless. He has Krieger use Iron Defense as he moves over, standing a blade's length away from the possessed sword and raises a finger at the eye on the hilt. He didn't know how to kill a ghost, but he knew that a show of force could go a long way. Or it could simply make him look absolutely mad. The hammer slips out of Jones's grip, and the ball taps the handle, but doesn't go off. The hammer responds to the perceived attack by swinging itself at Jones! [result]17&17,1d20,0,17&1d20[/result] [result]28&7,1d8,21,28&1d8+21[/result] (Focus: I2, and it is considered Steel) The shortsword stops in its tracks, and the bow and flail follow suit, laying themselves to rest with a rude stare. Stefan still has an ominous feeling, but the live weapons seem inert for now. |

The hammer drops to the ground, and falls asleep on the spot (3) and is unable to wake up. The sword is ambivalent, but fidgety. The bow and flail have similar hangups, reluctant to listen. Stefan senses some kind of distrust for humans. (Charm or something else?) |
