Theme Music is now mandatory

The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient.

A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards.

"Sweet mother of Mew. Stefan, there's a prison down here. Including some poor bastard's skeleton and what looks like a bunch of Geodude that were smashed to pieces!" Jones releases Inferno, warily looking around for whatever might have destroyed those Geodude.

Stefan descends, switching on his flashlight as he scans the grizzly sight.

"Human skeleton? How old do you think it is? This place was supposed to be untouched by humans, wasn't it?"

Jones frowns, and moves forward carefully to inspect said skeleton; making sure to keep clear of the remnants of Geodudes. "That's a good point..."

The skeleton itself is old, quite old, but mostly intact. The important bones all seem fine... with the notable exception of the ribcage, which is absolutely pulverized. The Geodude surrounding the corpse are similarly pounded, with grainy chunks and dust surrounding the limp rocks.

From a rack more near the wall where the explorers came from, it looks like the two missed a wooden rack containing a small sword, a large hammer similar to what Jones's has, and a wooden crate in an opposite corner with a bow resting on it.

"Don't touch it. If this thing is as old as we think, then the bones are probably incredibly brittle at this point. Looks like whatever killed this poor bastard staved in his ribcage, and these Geodude got similar treatment. Could you grab those weapons off the rack, I'm going to check the crate and grab that bow." Jones skirts around the remains or mon and man, and moves over to the crate, and picking up the bow. Investigating the crate, is it nailed shut or does it look like it can be opened?

Stefan merely nods, stowing away the hammer but clutching the sword in his fist. He takes a closer look at the panel, searching for any marking or carving that might yield more information about this mysterious torture room.

"Hey, didn't that Merchant say something about reviving dead pokemon? You think he might be able to work with these things?"

Stefan didn't continue his thought on the manner. Something seemed deeply macabre about it.

"He might, but if they're only ordinary Geodude he'd probably pitch a fit for wasting his time and energy. And honestly it doesn't seem right to disturb them like that after what they seem to have gone through."

The crate is nailed absolutely shut. There's no easy way of opening it. The weapons themselves, strangely, are also nailed down; they can't be pulled off with meager effort.

The panel is pure white stone on a bedding of smooth, concrete-like material. A large circular decal is etched into the center, looking like a big eye. The small pupil pierces Stefan's state of mind...

Stefan frowns when he can't wrench the weapons from the rack, but pauses for a moment, staring at the eye. The Occult was never his strong suit. He waits for Jones to make more of the clever observations he's come to expect.

"What the hell? Why would these be nailed... crap. Stefan, I think we need to get out of here." Turning to the other man, he sees him staring at the symbol etched into the stone. He frowns, trying to place the symbol.
