Theme Music is now mandatory

The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient.

A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards.

The Tentacool allows several drops of Acid to fall from her tentacle onto the wooden area of the door around the lock, making a neat semi-circle on one of the doors under Jones' direction. After that's completed, Jones will attempt to open the intact door. With nothing holding the piece of wood attached to the lock in place anymore, it should swing open easily.

This wood door resists the poison a little... it thins the composition near the lock, but the lock itself remains intact.

Jones frowns, then directs Ursula to do two more semi-circles of acid following the same path.

(Batiro, when you say cellar doors, are we talking two doors that swing outwards to either side? Because what I'm trying to do is essentially cut through the area on one side that has the lock attached to it, so that the doors will open without having to mess with the actual lock. Just to be clear.)

YES

After a good while of spraying acid, that part of the door finally becomes brittle enough to break off, and the doors fold, revealing a pitch-black staircase down below.

Jones once again straps on his Darkvision goggles and peers into the murky depths.

Stefan, almost amused by the entry method, lets Jones take the lead. He rolls a pokeball in his palm and keeps his eyes and ears open.

The stairs carry on for only a few meters, lined with unlit torches on both sides. Upon flattening out, the room below looks to have a solid concrete floor scattered with... chains? That's all that can be told of it from the top of the stairs.

Jones is starting to look somewhat uncomfortable., but presses onwards and downwards anyway. When he gets to the bottom, he'll take another look around, till wearing his Darvision Goggles.

Stefan calls out Krieger as Jones descends into the depths. Perhaps they could get the drop on something. He keeps his flashlight handy but does not follow immediately.

At the bottom of the steps, a chill runs up Jones's spine as he reaches the bottom step. His eyes come down on a smooth floor sparsed with steel chains, with cuffs on every end, and empty wooden racks on the walls.

The most defining feature of the room, though, is the stone panel in the middle with two clasps on the sides... and a limp human skeleton in the center. There's also some cracked rocky spheres near it. They look like Geodude... but noticeably more destroyed.
