Theme Music is now mandatory

The dank passageway turns quickly from stone to steel, and the built-in glowing lanterns have turned to primitive steampunk light bulbs. The corridor branches out, and the strangest sight thus far reveals itself: factories and machinery as far as the eye can see. Buckets of iron pipes and stone tools can be seen near the entrance, and light bulbs are present throughout the space that can be seen, though none are lit up... just as well, since this place must be ancient.

A small, fenced courtyard occupies the area around this entrance, and beyond the massive gate arch, it's factories for hundreds of yards.

Jones smiles as his spies the hinges. "Bingo." Taking out a slender tool and a small hammer, he releases Neil and Ursula. "Okay you two, keep this door braced up while I work." After they brace the door with a combination of bulk, telekinetic power, and tentacles, he begins popping the pins out of the hinges with the hammer and the tool.

The hinges, ancient and rusted, do not come out easily... (Athletics)

Jones' tongue tip sticks out slightly as he focuses on removing the pins.

Jones manages to wedge one of the pins out... about an inch. These are some heavy-duty pins, and Jones doesn't seem to be getting them out any time soon.

He growls and attacks them with the hammer again.

The hammer strikes... and the pin snaps off. Whoops.

There's still a long fragment left, apparently stuck in there. The door creaks a little bit, but still doesn't display signs of budging.

Jones sighs. "Damn. I suppose our best bet is to locate the key to this thing. Perhaps it's in that other office..." He'll recall his mon, and then lead Owen into the reception area though the other door; and take a good look around the place.
