Theme music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaPf-MRKITg Spoiler: click to toggle A decently large tent is built into the rock wall of the Antechamber. A sign hangs above it with thick, block letters that says The Back Alley. The inside is roomy and nice, with a small bar built across the back, where Merchant sits with tools and Pokeballs for sale. Various tables dot the room, where people can mingle and relax (and do business). A back room sits behind the bar, but nobody has ever seen, much less been, inside. A large blackboard hangs above him, with deals and offers written across it. Stefan considers the offer, and then nods approvingly. "I'll give you camel and grassmouse for four great balls, 400 yen, and the dunsparce. Sound good?" He slides two of the pokeballs forwards and offers his hand. |

Merchant gives his hand, and shakes Stephen's. "It is a deal." Merchant briefly walks into the back and a lot of loud whirring and clanging sounds an be heard. Coming back, he hands over the 4 great balls and 400 Pyen, and Dunsparce. "Merchant thanks you for your buisiness. Are there any repairs you need made? Merchant would be willing to do a few for free for good patronage." <Dunsparce is Level 7, Skittish, male, has serene grace, and Knows False Swipe> |

"Hello!" Owen greeted warmly as he entered the tent. "I only had time to grab the barest essentials before I left to travel here; it might be prudent to take a few Pokeballs along just in case." He spotted the items in question on the counter. "Oho, that's an excellent price! I'll take... hmm, seven should do for now." He surveyed the other items available. "Quite a selection here! I may have to return with my granddaughter to pick out a new Pokemon or two for her." |

Jones steps in, working around the older gentleman at the counter. "Merchant, need four Great Balls." He puts down 808 Poke on the counter. Once he's got his merchandise, he takes off for the Foyer, and the Steam Tunnels, ready to finish clearing that other door. Perhaps he'd find some shards amidst the rubble as well...

Merchant pops into the tent from the back room, with a few crates of balls. "Yesyes, Merchant has many different services, all in one convenient location." He passes the four great balls to Jones and the seven basics to the newcomer. "Feel free to come again. Merchant will shortly have many fresh bred pokemon, perfect for children." Merchant enters into the tent, lighting a number of lamps and checking on the egg machines to ensure they're working as expected. He then pulls out a huge bag of pokeballs and walks into the very back. A loud array of bangs and crashes goes off, and you see a faint trail of smoke come out. He comes back out with the bag full to the brim with pokeballs and begins writing down a list of inventory. "What can Merchant do for you today?" |

Inside Merchants tent, Stefan produces a list. . . Its an account of all his Pokemon. "I want to get as much as I can for all these, minus the crocodiles and big mushroom. I understand you have a horsea and sigilyph you are willing to trade, and can sell the rest." |

Merchant reads down the list. "Schlamm: Poison/Water Koffing: 1775 Keres: Fire/Flying Woobat: 1550 Dunkopf: Dunsparce False Swipe: 1400 Redcap, Paras: 700 Preyer, Yanma: 500 Wicked, Grimer Shadow Punch: 2000 Rhyback, Rock/Bug Rhyhom: 1775 Stinger, Skorupi: 1725 Total cost: 11,425." Merchant speaks the calculations without pause, as naturally as if he was running the numbers through a calculator. "Merchant does indeed have a seahorse and glyph. He would be willing to trade them, ideally for the two of Grimer and Rhyhorn. The rest, Merchant cannot help with, however he is willing to assist in sales if you wish to travel to goldenrod. Also, here is updated list." Merchant waves at the current board he just put up, with the notable additions of a handful of fossil pokemon. (In opening post). Stefan notes Merchants calculations. "Don't mind my numbers, that's all I could get from other people. Sell for what you can, minus your five percent fee. I'll up it to ten percent if you can pick up an aron evilote and a flash cannon tm or two while you are out. Deal?" |
