Theme Music is now mandatory

The city air is a refreshing breather from the dank pyramid... it would do an explorer good to take a break every once in a while. Whether here for business or pleasure, out here's definitely better than in there!

With the recent excavation going on, it seems that Professor Elm and his assistants have commandeered half the town in the name of science! The city scientists have set up in the Poke Center, close enough for research, yet far enough away to not be bothered by the inherent dangers of the unknown magical ruins.

"Merchant is here to reach a higher state."
He slightly opens one of the outer cloaks to flash a quick reveal of dozens of pokeballs.

The Monk spies all the balls, glorious balls, and bows his head. He then walks to the back of the room and pulls a leaf on one of the Bellsprout statues... opening up a door at the back. A short staircase down and a pleasant nature walk later, and Merchant finds himself at the door of the Pokemon Black Market.

Walking down the steps, Meowth by his side, Merchant descends the staircase, goggles on tight to make sure that no part of his body is visible. Eggs and balls at the ready, he can practically taste the possibilities.

The doors open wide to reveal an immense single room in the style of a modernized speakeasy, with plenty of traders stocked with eggs of their own, as well as shady-looking trainers toting bags of Poke Balls around the single room... what a place for opportunities.

Merchant is drawn to the trader's tables in particular... (Perception?)

Merchant spies a few trader tables that catch his interest. Conveniently, they're all organized with a letter.

Table E shows a muscular man with a cheerful disposition, and an Electabuzz next to him. His table is lined with Poke Balls, potions, and a case of discs... TMs?

Table J has a fat hiker-looking man with a thick beard, a Swinub on his shoulder, and a hoist of pretty-looking stones. He also has a few Poke Balls on the side.

Table U belongs to a skinny-looking man with circular glasses, a Magnemite, and a case full of Poke Balls. The balls themselves are open, showing no Pokemon inside them, so that must mean the balls are what's for sale.

Merchant starts with the line of pokeballs at E and J, curious what pokemon are for sale. Cat seems content to just stare at the pretty stones, enamored by them.
"Merchant has a number of pokemon, some typeshifted, and eggs he is looking to exchange. Will they be acceptable alternative for bargain?"

The muscular trader laughs heartily. "Ha ha! Type shifts maybe, but eggs best reserved for egg table!" The man points over at a holding pen looking thing, layered with eggs. "Give eggs to them, pay fee, and you get better prize, maybe. Most traders do not take egg, including self. Too hard to tell when getting scammed."

The muscular trader then slams his hands on the table, rattling the balls. "Come now! Show me Pokemon you are willing to give up!"

"Some of eggs are typeshifted as well, no interest in gambling them away. But perhaps may swap the others."
Merchant opens up three of the balls, causing the magby, makuhita, and the flowering bellsprout to appear.
The Magby and makuhita seem confused, while the white flower Bellsprout doesn't seem to care int he slightest.
The Magby, afraid, spits out a rock and holds it threateningly, while the Makuhita raises its fists, small flames popping out the side.
Bellsprout just looks stupid.
"Firechild is part rock, smallfatman is not yet fire, but can use fire. When evolves, becomes full shifted. Merchant has a full evolved shifted Fire Fatman, but it is too powerful to let free.
The plant...just looks unusual. Might change when evolves, merchant does not know. But perhaps monks will pay large for it."
Merchant also lets out the Krabby and Geodude, who both look guarded at the crowd, before recalling them all.

"I have two rock Firechilds, and 1 of the rest shown. Crab and Rock are normal, but both taught False Swipe. Merchant also open to using money, if needed.
What are the pokemon and prices?"

The muscular trader lets out another hardy laugh, directed seemingly at the Magby. "Ha ha! I like little spitfire, or spit-rock, as may be!" He likes the Magby in particular.

"Very well! Here is selection." He brings over a piece of paper, with words hastily scribbled on it... in all caps.

MACHO MARCUS POKEMON SHOP

The muscular trader seems very satisfied with this selection.
