Theme Music is now mandatory The city air is a refreshing breather from the dank pyramid... it would do an explorer good to take a break every once in a while. Whether here for business or pleasure, out here's definitely better than in there! With the recent excavation going on, it seems that Professor Elm and his assistants have commandeered half the town in the name of science! The city scientists have set up in the Poke Center, close enough for research, yet far enough away to not be bothered by the inherent dangers of the unknown magical ruins. "Of course, I am an Army Ranger, a trained professional. And the Spinarak was just an offer, not mandatory," the man sounds trustworthy and confident in his abilities. |

Merchant shrugs. "If you are able... Merchant has six that could use training. The other team... Train Stephens then. He is one of the explorers at the camp you have likely met. Is this acceptable?" Merchant pulls out the three poke balls to Archen, Kabuto, and Cyndaquil. "Additionally, should you find other fossils, Merchant will be willing to revive them for you." |

"Absolutely, I am glad we could come to such an agreement. I'll keep that in mind for the future, I seem to have a disposition to finding things." |

Merchant hands the three pokemon over, and pulls out six pokeballs. Thankfully the team is made up of small pokemon, consisting of Meowth, Koffing, Bayleef, Lickitung, Do duo, and....magikarp. "Only Doduo is to act as support. The rest, train offensively." |

"Yes sir." Inei finds a small area where he can train the Pokemon, close by, and get's to work. He essentially instructs them to exploit weaknesses in their enemies attention by having them stand in a circle and try to lightly bat their neighbors, and if they should see an opportunity to strike, strike at someone. He finds the Licktung and Meowth to be fairly capable, and the Magikarp a pain to teach anything that doesn't involve splash. The Doudo he took to the side and instructs to give support to random members in the circle, running around them essentially, giving fire support by distracting the target. Once he's done he returns to Merchant and returns the Pokemon. "It is done. They are now able to employ pack tactics, and the bird can distract enemies to make them get a hit in easier." |

"Goodgood. A pleasure doing business. Stephen should be deep within the pyramid right now, but there is no time limit for that part of the debt. Merchant will now be off to business in Goldenrod." Saying that, he now mounts the two-headed bird, and prepares to leave. |

"Take care". After that beneficial transaction, Inei returns to the Pyramid. He wanted to get back down there. |

The two trainers head their separate ways, their deals completed. (Merchant to the routes, Inei to the Pyramid) |

Finally stepping outside the Tower, Reya talks quietly to the Shuppet with just a twinge of bitterness. "I know it can be hard to go on after losing someone but at least your sibling will be safe. And I know I'm the cause of all of this but if you'd like to come with me, well at least you wouldn't go alone. " Charm [result]21&3:5:6:5,4d6,2,21&4d6+2[/result] |

The Shuppet, somewhat content, doesn't appear to object to coming under Reya's ownership. As long as it has a source of food, apparently. (15/any Nature/Frisk) (also have a TXP for taming a wild without battling it) Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 3 2014, 04:45 PM.
