Theme Music is now mandatory The city air is a refreshing breather from the dank pyramid... it would do an explorer good to take a break every once in a while. Whether here for business or pleasure, out here's definitely better than in there! With the recent excavation going on, it seems that Professor Elm and his assistants have commandeered half the town in the name of science! The city scientists have set up in the Poke Center, close enough for research, yet far enough away to not be bothered by the inherent dangers of the unknown magical ruins. Reya walks over, hopefully this guy would cooperate. "Hey did you catch a Shuppet earlier?" she queries, gesturing to the one floating behind her. "It's sibling here would like to..say goodbye" Charm [result]17&3:5:1:6,4d6,2,17&4d6+2[/result] |

The Ecruteak trainer is a little surprised. "Shuppet? Oh... is that this ghost I got?" The trainer deploys a ball, revealing the captured Shuppet, which happily reunites with its sibling. "There's two? I gotta get in on this!" The trainer produces another empty ball, eyeing the uncaptured Shuppet greedily... |

Reya motions him to stay his hand. "Hey he's with me! We're likely to never to meet again and I thought a parting would do them both some good." It wasn't a lie but it wasn't really the whole truth either. Better the guy didn't have two vengeful ghosts after him. Hopefully the shuppet wouldn't take it the wrong way though. (Opposing Guile/Intuition: 9) "Uh... if you already own it, I guess that's fine." The ghost trainer quickly puts away his ball, and lets his Shuppet have its fun. The two ghosts are happy to be back together, and obviously don't want to leave. After a minute of messing around, the trainer's getting impatient, and wants to be on his way. |

Well, maybe the Shuppet could be convinced to leave since it has had this farewell? She tries to grab the free Shuppet's attention but has a hard time doing so since it is still caught up in the reunion. "You've had your goodbye; there's nothing more we can do here. Let's head back to the Pyramid." The words come out harsher than she intends but it's the best she could manage without the trainer getting suspicious. It takes a good long while, but the Shuppet finally drift apart. It's very sad, and breaks Reya's heart. The trainer seems indifferent. Parsing around the populat trades today, Merchant finds a few trainers looking to part with some common Pokemon. Specifically, it looks like he can put offers up for a Misdreavus, a Doduo, or a Combee. |

As the disheartened duo descend the tower, Reya speaks softly to the spirit, "I'm sorry to have gotten you wrapped up in this. I didn't give a thought to you and your sibling being wilds and... I wouldn't blame you if you headed back to the Pyramid. I could find someone else to look into The Tower I guess..." Though she sounds none to sure at this last part. Couldn't whoever else she found turn to disaster as well. |

Not interested in the Misdreavus or the Combee, Merchant does however look intently at the Doduo. "Merchant wishes to know how well this creature can serve as a mount." |

The trainer that owns the bird, a gentleman in a fancy suit, responds with a chuckle. "Well enough, friend. He can't fly, but he sure can run! I breed them for a living, and I assure you, they're the fastest thing on two legs this side of Mt. Silver. What have you to trade?" The trainer, happy to finally be away from a ghost he isn't allowed to catch, recalls his new Shuppet to end the reunion and goes on his way. Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 2 2014, 05:16 AM.
