The city air is a refreshing breather from the dank pyramid... it would do an explorer good to take a break every once in a while. Whether here for business or pleasure, out here's definitely better than in there!

With the recent excavation going on, it seems that Professor Elm and his assistants have commandeered half the town in the name of science! The city scientists have set up in the Poke Center, close enough for research, yet far enough away to not be bothered by the inherent dangers of the unknown magical ruins.

"There isn't much I can do to help. You're fair game as far as most are concerned." Reya feels a twinge of guilt, it was her fault that the duo was out of their home in the first place. "I can't do much more than offer to try and find whoever caught him to let you say goodbye." The poor Ghost was clearly upset. Now was not the time to ask it if it saw anything.

The upset ghost flails about in some kind of fit of adorable misery, and phases back through the wall. It really wants to find its sibling... perhaps it will be waiting for Reya inside.

There was nothing else for it. Reya tries to get inside and search around for the ghost, assuming of course that it is no long time for 'holy things'

Visitors are welcome inside Sprout Tower today, it seems. Monks are meditating, children are playing with the Bellsprout, and Gastly lurk on the upper levels of the tower. Business as usual.

Reya locates her Shuppet in a dark corner, which motions toward a monk sitting in front of a door in the back of the first floor.

Reya walks over to the monk not quite sure what to say. "Hey, this is a bit out of the blue but did you catch a Shuppet recently? She asks carefully, continuing if the monk acknowledges the capture. I found another outside and it suggested that its sibling had been caught and it seemed devastated. Could you at least let it say goodbye?"

The monk hums to himself, briefly contemplating the question. "I don't think any of our monks caught such a ghost. Perhaps a passing trainer may have caught him. In fact, I'm certain I saw a young man from Ecruteak ascend to the upper floors. He was looking for a Gastly, I believe... we try not to harbor such Pokemon, but if anyone were to catch a ghost in this tower, it may be him."

The monk politely nods to Reya, and the freed Shuppet drifts near Reya, looking at her with large, pleading eyes.

Well, waiting around would take up time she didn't want to spare from delving the Pyramid. "Thanks for the tip, I guess I'll be heading up then," she says to the monk. She begins to head upstairs but first stops to confer with the Shuppet. "Hopefully the monk is right and that guy is the right trainer. Just try and stick close, we wouldn't want you caught too."

The Shuppet understands... it just wants a means to an end, it looks like.

The upstairs is populated mainly by tourists, looking to, well, tour the place. The ever-weaving central support pillar draws the most attention, with the semi-wilds in a close second. At this point in the day, there don't seem to be that many trainers about, but most of them are going after the Bellsprout or Rattata... the poor fools.

Reya looks around at the trainers, hoping to spy out anyone that might be from Ecruteak. Not exactly the best of plans but maybe the Shuppet at her shoulder would draw his attention?

Reya gets a look around the room, and she catches talk of a kid excited over catching a "pointy Gastly".

Strange.

She manages to find this trainer in no time; dressed fairly ordinary, aside from a purple headband over his forehead. A verifiable Ecruteak trainer. He doesn't have the 'Gastly' out, but he's playing with a freshly-caught Bellsprout instead, wondering aloud if he can make it Ghost-type somehow.
