The marble architecture leading down the sparkling passage becomes more articulate the further on it goes, from a few wavy lines to a full-on ocean mural, depicting many aquatic Pokemon. The odd sparkling light reflects off of all sides, despite any source nearby... that is soon changed, however, when the passage fans outward to a bright, noisy clearing.

The tunnel ends atop a set of stairs leading downward a meter, which itself leads to a marble platform carved into the wall on this side of the chamber. The platform is essentially a stone dock; the rest of the chamber, under the level of that dock, is filled with water. How far down cannot be discerned, but what is certain is that this place was once tall and majestic. The tips of massive stonework buildings peak out of the surface of the water, waves crashing softly against the masonry. The tops of lower buildings form platforms that can be traversed with hearty jumps. Just as well, some buildings poke out even taller, gaining a story of space above the water level.

Above the water, the chamber resonates a white-blue reflection of the deep. Lanterns are strung up instead of being bolted to the wall, and the far wall stretches upward at an angle to meet the back wall in a triangle formation. The chamber is actually quite large as far as forward-backward goes, but who knows how far down it goes?

Jason attempts to pry open the oyster, but to his surprise, it snaps up as soon as he tugs, sending him back a little bit. A pink pearl sits in the center... with a sleepy face. Clamperl is disturbed from its slumber.

Looking to the Clamperl, Jason raised an eyebrow slowly before shrugging. Training is training. He reached into his bag and pulled out a pokeball, releasing Angel who posed and flexed before getting ready to fight.

The Clamperl, seeing the two muscular gents about to assault it, whimpers a little, but folds its shell back entirely.

Jason begins to wind up for a punch but Angel hops in front of him first, giving a punch to the Clamperl before backing behind Jason once more. He then finished off the hit, hoping to knock a bit off of the shell.

As Angel leaps back from the Fake Out, he accidentally bumps Jason's fist, sending him reeling past the Clamperl. Fortunately, the oyster is flinched, so it cannot retaliate...

Shaking off the miss, Jason swung again, this time his fist moving quickly while Angel struck with a fist of his own.

Angel isn't working well with Jason today, pushing him out of the way to get his own shot at glory... selfish thing.

The Clamperl itself seems to be shrugging off the hits... with good reason, since that shell is thick as steel. With a blast of water from its inner mouth, it attempts to soak Angel with Water Gun! [result]13&13,1d20,0,13&1d20[/result] [result]28&3:5,2d6,20,28&2d6+20[/result]

Taking the hit, Angel knew that it was time to work together with Jason. He channels some energy into his trainer, hoping things would start to work better for the two while Jason swings in, hoping to knock away some of the armor protecting clamperl.

The Clamperl is reasonably hurt now, and it makes a horrible echoing noise at Angel and Jason. Supersonic!
