The marble architecture leading down the sparkling passage becomes more articulate the further on it goes, from a few wavy lines to a full-on ocean mural, depicting many aquatic Pokemon. The odd sparkling light reflects off of all sides, despite any source nearby... that is soon changed, however, when the passage fans outward to a bright, noisy clearing.

The tunnel ends atop a set of stairs leading downward a meter, which itself leads to a marble platform carved into the wall on this side of the chamber. The platform is essentially a stone dock; the rest of the chamber, under the level of that dock, is filled with water. How far down cannot be discerned, but what is certain is that this place was once tall and majestic. The tips of massive stonework buildings peak out of the surface of the water, waves crashing softly against the masonry. The tops of lower buildings form platforms that can be traversed with hearty jumps. Just as well, some buildings poke out even taller, gaining a story of space above the water level.

Above the water, the chamber resonates a white-blue reflection of the deep. Lanterns are strung up instead of being bolted to the wall, and the far wall stretches upward at an angle to meet the back wall in a triangle formation. The chamber is actually quite large as far as forward-backward goes, but who knows how far down it goes?

"Roofs first, then the water."
Stephen's eye was fairly on target. Merchant's clothing was meant for the desert, not the sea. He would take a long time to dry off after getting in the water.

Merchant begins to make his way to the buildings in an attempt to find some loot, or perhaps some pokemon that he *wouldn't* have to chase down.

Jason swims into the building, which hosts a few more scared Horsea, but nothing much else. A crevice leads down into darkness, and a ladder leads up to a second floor.

Merchant darts across buildings with eerie precision, and Stefan is not far behind. Crossing the archway, he comes upon the same trio of buildings that Oz spied earlier... open windows in front of him and to his sides, only a leap away.

Looking around a little bit, Jason ignores the Horsea and grabs the ladder, climbing up the ladder, keeping his eyes open.

Well, let's take a look.

Stefan attempts to jump to the leftmost building. If he makes it, he'll.turn to help Merchant if necessary.

Jason heads up the ladder... and finds something strange. A whole bunch of ancient furniture, white in color, is gathered in the center of the room. Atop it all is a huge blue oyster. It's closed, and light shines down from above it.

Stefan makes a clean dive into the room, whereas Merchant lands with a thud on the wall, but is helped in by Stefan. The inside of the room contains water up to their ankles, and a few non-Horsea mons are nestled in the corners of the room. Two crabs to a corner... eight overall.

Opening a pokeball, a small, green and grassy pokemon pops out in front of Merchant. It twirls a leaf on its head before getting in a ready position.

"Merchant wishes to know if you are ready."

Jason looks around slowly to see what else is going on in the room and slowly walks to the oyster. Slowly then he reaches out and tries to open it up by force.
