The marble architecture leading down the sparkling passage becomes more articulate the further on it goes, from a few wavy lines to a full-on ocean mural, depicting many aquatic Pokemon. The odd sparkling light reflects off of all sides, despite any source nearby... that is soon changed, however, when the passage fans outward to a bright, noisy clearing. The tunnel ends atop a set of stairs leading downward a meter, which itself leads to a marble platform carved into the wall on this side of the chamber. The platform is essentially a stone dock; the rest of the chamber, under the level of that dock, is filled with water. How far down cannot be discerned, but what is certain is that this place was once tall and majestic. The tips of massive stonework buildings peak out of the surface of the water, waves crashing softly against the masonry. The tops of lower buildings form platforms that can be traversed with hearty jumps. Just as well, some buildings poke out even taller, gaining a story of space above the water level. Above the water, the chamber resonates a white-blue reflection of the deep. Lanterns are strung up instead of being bolted to the wall, and the far wall stretches upward at an angle to meet the back wall in a triangle formation. The chamber is actually quite large as far as forward-backward goes, but who knows how far down it goes? |

With one last super punch, the Tentacruel's other orb ruptures... and it passes out cold. VICTORY The Makuhita squadron surfaces, and gets back on solid ground quickly. Water is certainly not their element. |

Watching the Tentacruel faint, Jason swims down towards it after surfacing for some air and shoved the Iapapa berry into it's mouth before tossing a pokeball at it. [result]7&7,1d20,0,7&1d20[/result] [result]80&80,1d100,0,80&1d100[/result]-4 |

Jason grabbed the ball and nodded a bit towards the Makuhita before climbing out of the water. "Alright guys...I have to head back to my camp as it's getting late. But I'll stop on by the arena, first thing tomorrow. Get some rest, and we'll go on some more adventures tomorrow." |

The grunt maintains a bit of a lead, and swims far into the water. To aid in his escape, he deploys a Pokemon behind him; a large, stony behemoth that floats in the water. It's a Cloyster! It is dropped right in Stefan's path as the grunt swims ahead... [result]15&6:2:5,3d6,2,15&3d6+2[/result] |
