The marble architecture leading down the sparkling passage becomes more articulate the further on it goes, from a few wavy lines to a full-on ocean mural, depicting many aquatic Pokemon. The odd sparkling light reflects off of all sides, despite any source nearby... that is soon changed, however, when the passage fans outward to a bright, noisy clearing. The tunnel ends atop a set of stairs leading downward a meter, which itself leads to a marble platform carved into the wall on this side of the chamber. The platform is essentially a stone dock; the rest of the chamber, under the level of that dock, is filled with water. How far down cannot be discerned, but what is certain is that this place was once tall and majestic. The tips of massive stonework buildings peak out of the surface of the water, waves crashing softly against the masonry. The tops of lower buildings form platforms that can be traversed with hearty jumps. Just as well, some buildings poke out even taller, gaining a story of space above the water level. Above the water, the chamber resonates a white-blue reflection of the deep. Lanterns are strung up instead of being bolted to the wall, and the far wall stretches upward at an angle to meet the back wall in a triangle formation. The chamber is actually quite large as far as forward-backward goes, but who knows how far down it goes? |

Meowth comes to Merchant's defense, jumping over and biting into the Krab that attacked him. Merchant decides that it's a good time to get out of dodge, and throws another quick pokeball before hopping back to the previous platform. "Too hot for Merchant! Merchant will assist from afar." The flurry of attacks and balls from Stefan and Merchant all somehow miss their marks...Krieger is able to throw up some Stealth Rocks, however! All three Krabby are immediately nailed in the face with rocks. One reacts to the creator of the rocks with a flurry of Bubbles, while the other two go after Cat and Stefan with more Vice Grips! Merchant dips out of the room successfully, barely hopping back onto the outside platform in time. As Jason dives deeper, he can barely see anything past the bottom floor of the building... just some very ominous red glowing spots much farther down. Edited by BatiroAtrain, Sep 10 2013, 09:50 AM.

Jason makes a note of the red spots further down and swims out of the building and surfacing to take a deep breath. His eyes then went on the window above the water. Quickly then he swam to it and climbed in, looking around. Percep: [result]3&1:2,2d6,0,3&2d6[/result]-1 |

In this new room, the water reaches Jason's waist, and aside from a shelf holding a few books over the water on the opposite side, nothing strikes him as out of the ordinary.

Jason soon ducks down, to search under the water, wondering if this was even worth it. Make up Perception: [result]6&3:3,2d6,0,6&2d6[/result]-1 |

Only more water awaits Jason down below... not much luck for the explorer today. |

A sigh escaped Jason's lips as he climbed back through the window and back into the water below, swimming away from his current area and keeping his eyes open. |

Jason swims past a thick decadence of buildings, squeezing past a tight pack of stone... as he passes, the water grows noticeably colder, and he comes upon a few thin sheets of ice. |
