The marble architecture leading down the sparkling passage becomes more articulate the further on it goes, from a few wavy lines to a full-on ocean mural, depicting many aquatic Pokemon. The odd sparkling light reflects off of all sides, despite any source nearby... that is soon changed, however, when the passage fans outward to a bright, noisy clearing.

The tunnel ends atop a set of stairs leading downward a meter, which itself leads to a marble platform carved into the wall on this side of the chamber. The platform is essentially a stone dock; the rest of the chamber, under the level of that dock, is filled with water. How far down cannot be discerned, but what is certain is that this place was once tall and majestic. The tips of massive stonework buildings peak out of the surface of the water, waves crashing softly against the masonry. The tops of lower buildings form platforms that can be traversed with hearty jumps. Just as well, some buildings poke out even taller, gaining a story of space above the water level.

Above the water, the chamber resonates a white-blue reflection of the deep. Lanterns are strung up instead of being bolted to the wall, and the far wall stretches upward at an angle to meet the back wall in a triangle formation. The chamber is actually quite large as far as forward-backward goes, but who knows how far down it goes?

The Krabby, learning from what happened mere moments ago, deftly dodge the oncoming leaves!

Jason looked at the ball and smiled softly to himself. "Welcome to the crew, Sugar Ray. I hope we'll work well together."

He then pulled out a potion applying it to himself before searching the furniture, hoping to find something of value.

The blue Pokemon is knocked out handily. Out comes the workhorse with a headbutt.

There isn't much else to be spied among the room... only scattered furniture, too decomposed to be of any use. Not one to be deterred by being blind, Jason swipes up the broken leg of a wooden chair as a souvenir.

Taking the leg, Jason stared at it for a moment before shrugging and sliding it into his bag before climbing down and diving back into the water, beginning to swim deeper, exhaling slowly and looking around for anything worth while.

The Krabby is struck hard, but won't go down easily. Packing the defense!

Meowth doesn't hesitate, and jumps forward, slashing at the injured Krabby.
Merchant, showing his quick hand again, throws out two more pokeballs, freeing a firey bat on the ceiling above while the other aims for the flinched Krabby.

The Keese seems rather angry about all the water, and stays attached to the ceiling.

The third Krabby is easily caught! (Same as others)

The two Krabby continue their assault of Vice Grips on the Pokemon, while one strafes through the crowd, attempting to snip at Merchant's ankles! Seems they've deemed him the biggest threat!

Stefan glances around the room. Still quite a few more. He notices one attacking Merchant directly, and goes to punt it away.

He also gives the command for Krieger to use Stealth Rock, but the pokemon is a bit slow to act.
