The marble architecture leading down the sparkling passage becomes more articulate the further on it goes, from a few wavy lines to a full-on ocean mural, depicting many aquatic Pokemon. The odd sparkling light reflects off of all sides, despite any source nearby... that is soon changed, however, when the passage fans outward to a bright, noisy clearing. The tunnel ends atop a set of stairs leading downward a meter, which itself leads to a marble platform carved into the wall on this side of the chamber. The platform is essentially a stone dock; the rest of the chamber, under the level of that dock, is filled with water. How far down cannot be discerned, but what is certain is that this place was once tall and majestic. The tips of massive stonework buildings peak out of the surface of the water, waves crashing softly against the masonry. The tops of lower buildings form platforms that can be traversed with hearty jumps. Just as well, some buildings poke out even taller, gaining a story of space above the water level. Above the water, the chamber resonates a white-blue reflection of the deep. Lanterns are strung up instead of being bolted to the wall, and the far wall stretches upward at an angle to meet the back wall in a triangle formation. The chamber is actually quite large as far as forward-backward goes, but who knows how far down it goes? |

The Clamperl remains in its shell, adamant about being done with the encounter... especially with the way the human is smacking itself around. |

Chikorita takes the claw in stride, and responds with a furious cone of grassy death at the two attacking Krabby! Its eyes gleam with joy and it looks rather creepily happy for a creature so small... The two Krabby are sapped of strength, but not down for the count... hardy little buggers they are. |

Finally snapping to, Jason shook out the cobwebs and looked at his partner. He returned the Tyrogue to his ball and fingered another ball...this one empty as he threw it to try to catch the reluctant Clamperl. [result]16&16,1d20,0,16&1d20[/result] [result]54&54,1d100,0,54&1d100[/result]-2 |

Stefan's ball nails one of the broken-down Krabby, and the ball locks with a little fuss. Krabby has been caught! (11/Hyper Cutter/Hardy/13 HP/Two Injuries) Jason has just as much luck; with closed shell, the Clamperl doesn't even see the ball coming. It barely puts up a fight, and is caught! (10/Shell Armor/Relaxed/17 HP/One Injury) Edited by BatiroAtrain, Sep 9 2013, 11:59 PM.

Capturing seems remarkably easy tonight, as the second Krabby is caught! (Same as before) The other two, seeing how easily their brothers fell, beckon to the other Krabby. Two more line up behind the bulked-up ones, Hardening themselves as well. The already-bulky Krabby move in for more Vice Grip attacks on Chikorita and Salz! Moves
