Theme Music is now mandatory The air grows more humid the further into the tunnel one moves, heated to the point that the walls themselves seem to melt... giving way to solid steel. Five minutes into it, the passage widens out like a fan, opening immensely into a chamber that seems straight out of a volcanic temple. The clay-brick architecture exists only on the ground, which feels much more dense when one walks on it. Six immense stone spikes carve out an invitation to those who wish to wander around this chamber, maybe hoping to get burned? The chamber itself stretches back immensely far, appearing to occupy one whole slice of the pyramid. The wall behind the group rises straight up, but the back wall in this chamber, as far as the group can see, slants at a sharp angle to meet the other wall behind them. Occupying the rest of this chamber appears to be a village-sized conglomerate of melted architecture! Regardless of the origin, this whole place looks like a molten city. There are even small lava pools dotting the ground around the entrance to this place, a connect-the-dots puzzle of melted rock surrounding a dead steel city... this place is truly intimidating, but a fit place to adventure for the hardier explorer. (Didn't want to post another time since that is a bit wordy, should be a total of 3 shards, since I managed to get a 6 into a 6 into a 4. Next time I should probably roll the original check separate since that seems to be some confusion.) Well her shard hunting went well. Perhaps she might be able to barter something else from the Darumaka but that could wait till later, she secretly hoped the mother would be asleep again since it looked rather fierce. To waste some time she searches for more secrets of the city. Perception [result]9&1:6,2d6,2,9&2d6+2[/result] |

Reya goes on a journey through the molten sects of town, looking for trouble... Near the rocky pasture, she comes upon a somewhat oddly put together group of rocks that form an entrance to a little burrow. It's just large enough for her to squeeze into, but some sparking can be heard from the inside. |

Reya let's out Bem and attempts to make some noise, by throwing some rocks(not the ones from the burrow) around to see if the creature will investigate. While climbing into the hole would be quicker, a cornered Pokemon could lash out. |

Bem's rocks draw a little attention; some rustling and shoving is heard deep in the burrow, along with the crackle of electricity. Reya briefly catches a glimpse of a pair of fully blue eyes, lighting the darkness a little before retreating back down with a burst of static.

Well whatever the Pokemon was it didn't seem hostile. Perhaps it could be drawn out by a Cheri berry? She crouches down near the burrow proffering the morsel. "Hey there, I won't hurt you. Are you hungry?" Bem however doesn't seem as interested in the bug, it is entirely too noisy for his taste... Charm [result]18&5:4:3:4,4d6,2,18&4d6+2[/result] |

Strangely, the creature is completely disinterested in the berry. With a crackle of power, it zaps the berry from the ground, smoldering it. The brief jolt is enough for Reya to get a good look at the body, though; it's round and craggy. |

Reya jerks back from the arc. That was curious, most Pokemon enjoy berries. Perhaps this one was a terravore? It's rough exterior would suggest as much. She wasn't quite interested enough to jump into a dark hole without in lights just yet but offers it the Yellow Shard she had found. The crystal might be enough to entice it further out. "Not much a greens eater huh. Would this be more to your liking?" Charm [result]4d6+2[/result] |

(Weird roll, I did it again for you and got an 11) Whatever is in there, it's a little more interested in the yellow shard. It comes out a little more... it's round, and looks like it's made of rock. When it comes forward a little more, it almost looks like a Voltorb... but not like Voltorb Reya's ever seen. |

(I don't even know how that happens) Well that was interesting. Why would there be such a Voltorb down here? As far as Reya knew rock wasn't used to contain Pokemon by any ancient people. It seemed whoever built the Pyramid wrought wonders of stone. "Come on then, I won't bite." Reya says proffering the shard once more, although not entirely sure of the diets of Voltorb, especially such a unique one. [result]13&3:1:1:6,4d6,2,13&4d6+2[/result] |

The rocky Voltorb rolls toward the shard a little bit, finally coming out of the burrow with a spark. It zaps the yellow shard, trying to garner sustenance from it... it looks like it wants to feed on the shard, but the food doesn't have enough energy in it.
