Theme Music is now mandatory The air grows more humid the further into the tunnel one moves, heated to the point that the walls themselves seem to melt... giving way to solid steel. Five minutes into it, the passage widens out like a fan, opening immensely into a chamber that seems straight out of a volcanic temple. The clay-brick architecture exists only on the ground, which feels much more dense when one walks on it. Six immense stone spikes carve out an invitation to those who wish to wander around this chamber, maybe hoping to get burned? The chamber itself stretches back immensely far, appearing to occupy one whole slice of the pyramid. The wall behind the group rises straight up, but the back wall in this chamber, as far as the group can see, slants at a sharp angle to meet the other wall behind them. Occupying the rest of this chamber appears to be a village-sized conglomerate of melted architecture! Regardless of the origin, this whole place looks like a molten city. There are even small lava pools dotting the ground around the entrance to this place, a connect-the-dots puzzle of melted rock surrounding a dead steel city... this place is truly intimidating, but a fit place to adventure for the hardier explorer. (Makuhita Combat: 11, 10, 13) The Makuhita are all in awe of Jason's moves; they haven't seen anything like it! They all affirm with each other, and calling upward, a ladder drops down from a hole in the ceiling. All three quickly climb it, with one looking down from above, beckoning toward Jason. |

Watching the Makuhita climb down the later and calling for him, Jason followed, glancing around once he hit the surface. |

The third floor is outlined by candles, and the windows are shut or otherwise boarded up. No scrolls are hanging, and the floor is likewise clear. About 20 Makuhita are cramped up here, in addition to the three from before, and the burned-face Makuhita from the scroll is sitting in a rather junky-looking throne. The burned Makuhita scowls at Jason with a face no other Makuhita has shown him. |

Looking to the Makuhita, Jason took off his bag and shirt before stretching and assuming a fighting pose. "I've come to challenge you for the throne." Speed: 10 |

The burned Makuhita slowly stands up, a look of annoyance on its face. One more for the taking. It moves toward Jason, and assumes a battle-ready pose. Initiative
