Theme Music is now mandatory The air grows more humid the further into the tunnel one moves, heated to the point that the walls themselves seem to melt... giving way to solid steel. Five minutes into it, the passage widens out like a fan, opening immensely into a chamber that seems straight out of a volcanic temple. The clay-brick architecture exists only on the ground, which feels much more dense when one walks on it. Six immense stone spikes carve out an invitation to those who wish to wander around this chamber, maybe hoping to get burned? The chamber itself stretches back immensely far, appearing to occupy one whole slice of the pyramid. The wall behind the group rises straight up, but the back wall in this chamber, as far as the group can see, slants at a sharp angle to meet the other wall behind them. Occupying the rest of this chamber appears to be a village-sized conglomerate of melted architecture! Regardless of the origin, this whole place looks like a molten city. There are even small lava pools dotting the ground around the entrance to this place, a connect-the-dots puzzle of melted rock surrounding a dead steel city... this place is truly intimidating, but a fit place to adventure for the hardier explorer. Koffing somehow dodges every single thrust, before attempting to use its water propulsion to jet itself into the hariyama's face. As the Koffing thrusts itself at the Hariyama, it grasps onto the ball with a fiery hand, burning it! (Flame Body) The Ball smacks into the Hariyama's thick gut, but bounces off harmlessly. The Hariyama, still grasping the Koffing, repeats the actions of its student, violently tossing it at the Merchant! Koffing takes one more cheapshot at the Hariyama before the punch lands, and its sent reeling back into Merchant. However, somehow the pokemon is still up! Merchant tosses out two more balls, one dropping a Meowth, and the other targetted toward Hariyama. The Hariyama takes a knee from the cheap shot, and in an instant, disappears into the ball with a roar of fury. The ball shakes... and the Hariyama is caught. Senseiyama Merchant senses a presence... there are Makuhita heads poking out of every window. Literally every window he can see. And every eye is fixed on him. |

Merchant calmly collects the pokeballs, and returns the koffing, not wanting to make any sudden movements. He slowly dismounts the stage before pointing in the opposite direction. "LOOK, MERCHANT SEES A THREE HEADED MANKEY!" And with that he bolts, wanting to get out of the ruined city as fast as mukking possible. Woobat flies above him, panicked by the sudden excitement, while Meowth returns itself to its ball. Edited by Anonyman, Nov 17 2013, 11:53 PM.

2/10ths of the mob is distracted... the rest of the Makuhita leap from the building, pouring out en masse to pursue Merchant!! The path between Merchant and the exit is also littered with Makuhita who are out training, but attempt to blockade Merchant as he makes his escape! (Acrobatics, Athletics, Focus, and Survival determine how well you escape!) |

Merchant deftly avoids some of the mob by leaping over them, barrels through a few, and keeps a good eye out for oncoming fatties. While muscling through, however, he does sustain a bit of damage ([result]12&4:6,2d6,2,12&2d6+2[/result] damage), but ultimately makes it through the horde safely, reaching the steps to the Foyer with a bit of a lead. |
