Theme Music is now mandatory The air grows more humid the further into the tunnel one moves, heated to the point that the walls themselves seem to melt... giving way to solid steel. Five minutes into it, the passage widens out like a fan, opening immensely into a chamber that seems straight out of a volcanic temple. The clay-brick architecture exists only on the ground, which feels much more dense when one walks on it. Six immense stone spikes carve out an invitation to those who wish to wander around this chamber, maybe hoping to get burned? The chamber itself stretches back immensely far, appearing to occupy one whole slice of the pyramid. The wall behind the group rises straight up, but the back wall in this chamber, as far as the group can see, slants at a sharp angle to meet the other wall behind them. Occupying the rest of this chamber appears to be a village-sized conglomerate of melted architecture! Regardless of the origin, this whole place looks like a molten city. There are even small lava pools dotting the ground around the entrance to this place, a connect-the-dots puzzle of melted rock surrounding a dead steel city... this place is truly intimidating, but a fit place to adventure for the hardier explorer. The Koffing and Woobat hesitatingly flap forward, while Merchant remains motionless. "Merchant challenges you." He signals the Woobat to float back some, leaving himself and Koffing in the ring. Edited by Anonyman, Nov 17 2013, 10:13 PM.

The first Makuhita is unprepared for the onslaught, and is captured easily! (20/Adamant/Guts/11 HP/1 Injury) The second Makuhita is taken aback by the quick cap, and sensing a battle against the Koffing would go badly, it instead opts to grab a hold of the Koffing, tossing the ball at its master with Vital Throw! Makuhita B's Vital Throw on Koffing: Cannot miss [result]42&5:5:6,3d8,26,42&3d8+26[/result] Push damage on Koffing: [result]5&5,1d6,0,5&1d6[/result] Unreduced Push damage on Merchant: [result]4&4,1d6,0,4&1d6[/result] Unreduced |

Merchant and Koffing fly back, the clothed man not very happy about being tossed around. Koffing jets back at the Makuhita, while Merchant tosses a pokeball at it before backing up farther, not wanting anything to do with such a violent (to him) creature. The second Makuhita is easily taken! (Same as above, but Quirky/Thick Fat/44 HP) The Hariyama looks at Merchant with a very unhappy glare. It cracks its flaming knuckles, and walks toward the arena with a stern look of 'you shouldn't have done that' on its face. |

Merchant bows his head silently, and keeps Koffing between it and him, trying to stay a distance away. He might have type advantage, but he was injured, and he knew it. |

The Hariyama struts to his side, ready to begin combat against these dishonorable intruders.
