Theme Music is now mandatory The air grows more humid the further into the tunnel one moves, heated to the point that the walls themselves seem to melt... giving way to solid steel. Five minutes into it, the passage widens out like a fan, opening immensely into a chamber that seems straight out of a volcanic temple. The clay-brick architecture exists only on the ground, which feels much more dense when one walks on it. Six immense stone spikes carve out an invitation to those who wish to wander around this chamber, maybe hoping to get burned? The chamber itself stretches back immensely far, appearing to occupy one whole slice of the pyramid. The wall behind the group rises straight up, but the back wall in this chamber, as far as the group can see, slants at a sharp angle to meet the other wall behind them. Occupying the rest of this chamber appears to be a village-sized conglomerate of melted architecture! Regardless of the origin, this whole place looks like a molten city. There are even small lava pools dotting the ground around the entrance to this place, a connect-the-dots puzzle of melted rock surrounding a dead steel city... this place is truly intimidating, but a fit place to adventure for the hardier explorer. Not wanting to take on 4 solrock at once, Merchant instead heads into the rock garden with Koffing floating at his side. |

The rock garden is borderless, but there aren't many other rocks around this place, and they're all gathered here, so... The rocks themselves rise to about knee height, and they are far enough apart for easy walking distance. The whole area is only a two-minute walk from one side to the other. As he enters, though, Merchant already spies a Pokemon in the distance... make that three or four. |

Merchant attempts to sneak up to the small red pokemon and get a better view of what they are/what they are doing. [result]8&3:3,2d6,2,8&2d6+2[/result] |

A closer looks reveals them to be Magby! For whatever reasons, three of the Magby are placing rocks in formations matching the garden, while another Magby is gathering said rocks. Perhaps they're the ones who built this garden? |

Merchant decides to just watch for a bit to see if anything develops, his curiosity outweighing his greed...for now. If their actions prove valueless, he'd just move in later after all. |

The Magby seems like incredibly efficient builders, creating rock structures in mere minutes. The retriever Magby seems to be pulling every rock from the same source... ther must be a lot of rocks in that little divot. |

Merchant goes and investigates the little divot, curious how so many rocks appear to be coming from the same small hole. |

The Magby doesn't pay any mind to the curious Merchant, and continues pulling rocks. It doesn't seem like it's going in very far to get them... (Perception) |
