Theme Music is now mandatory The air grows more humid the further into the tunnel one moves, heated to the point that the walls themselves seem to melt... giving way to solid steel. Five minutes into it, the passage widens out like a fan, opening immensely into a chamber that seems straight out of a volcanic temple. The clay-brick architecture exists only on the ground, which feels much more dense when one walks on it. Six immense stone spikes carve out an invitation to those who wish to wander around this chamber, maybe hoping to get burned? The chamber itself stretches back immensely far, appearing to occupy one whole slice of the pyramid. The wall behind the group rises straight up, but the back wall in this chamber, as far as the group can see, slants at a sharp angle to meet the other wall behind them. Occupying the rest of this chamber appears to be a village-sized conglomerate of melted architecture! Regardless of the origin, this whole place looks like a molten city. There are even small lava pools dotting the ground around the entrance to this place, a connect-the-dots puzzle of melted rock surrounding a dead steel city... this place is truly intimidating, but a fit place to adventure for the hardier explorer. Jones will take out the dive suit and his waterproof flashlight. He secures all of his team's pokeballs except for Ursula and MC inside his pack, after removing some empty pokeballs and then securing the pack's watertight seal. From there, he'll don the suit, slip the pokeballs he's kept out to his belt, pick up his pack and flashlight, and enter the hotspring following the steps carved into the wall. |

Jones heads down through the hot springs... the water's heat is cut down, but it's still quite warm. Down he goes... (New topic!) Bait roll: [result]18&18,1d20,0,18&1d20[/result] |

The bait is especially potent, and a Pokemon soon comes along... and it's ugly as hell. It's shaped vaguely like a red and brown teapot... it's a Heatmor! Gross. The Heatmor licks at the bait with it's weird tongue, ambivalent toward the onlooking Merchant. |

"Cat, Now." The Meowth does its meowth-y thing, and sneaks forward, ready to punch the heatmor in its dumb heatmor-y face. [result]18&2:5:1:6,4d6,4,18&4d6+4[/result] |

Heatmor's Perception The Heatmor caresses the bait with its tongue, unaware of the claws that are about to sink into its hide. |

The Heatmor suffers all three hits, and before it even knows what the hell happened, it is caught in a critically efficient capture. (15/Skittish/Flash Fire/4 HP/1 Injury) |

Satisfied that the bait worked, he packs it back up, and surveys the area, attempting to get a sense for what pokemon might be nearby. [result]16&1:2:6:2,4d6,5,16&4d6+5[/result] EDU pokemon |

Merchant surveys the area... and notices the four floating suns in the distance. Solrock are pretty creepy. The area he occupies right now seems to be an slight indentation in the area... there's no hole or cavern, but the indent is somewhat deep, and devoid of grass and such. This would be a good place to find some non-Fire types that don't mind heat. Nearby, there appears to be a mid-sized... rock garden? One wonders what could be found there. |
