Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

The look of confusion clears up Reya's. But what would happen to the innocent plant if one of the other explorers stumbled across it? It's playing rough wouldn't go well with them..."Oh. It might be fun for you but somebody might see it as a threat. You ought to be more careful." Explaining things was hard.

The Maractus is growing a little bored. It turns away from Reya and starts shooting the treetops with water from its hands.

...but Maractus don't usually shoot water.

The Maractus was certainly an odd specimen but after her reappraisals it wouldn't likely tag along. "Just be careful," Reya says before continuing the search with Bem.

(35)

Reya bumps around the grassy area a little more, and picks up a small patch of berries. It looks like three Persim, two Pecha, and one Lum. Lucky!

Berries? That meant she was on the right track...probably. Reya forges onwards confidant that the apricorn must be nearby.

(38) The endless shrubbery and foliage is starting to wear on Reya. Plus it smells in here.

After some more searching, she spots something high in a tree.

What on Earth could that be? Reya wondered at the object she couldn't quite get a good glimpse of. Bem could jump but not that high. A further moment of thought with the assailing scent brings about a solution. Out comes Dorath again, even though the last time he had been out had proved painful surely this time would be different. "See that thing up there?" she says gesturing to the mystery object, "Think you could investigate it for me? I know I'd have difficulty scaling the trees..." The ghost nods once before slowly rising through the air.

Dorath checks out whatever's up here in the tree... and after playing with it a little, the object falls from the tree, right at Reya's feet.

It's an Apricorn! But not one Reya has ever seen... and this one sure doesn't look Gold. This one has a shiny coat of Silver.
