Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

The Pikachu is drawn into the ball easily. Another capture for Merchant!

Rolling in Type-Shifts

Some distant rustling in the bushes can be heard... along with a bit of zapping. Presumably more of these Pikachu...

Stefan gestures toward the noise before approaching it, hand on his poke ball.

Merchant recalls the Slugma, ready to throw it out if needed.

Merchant and Stefan move through the brush, pursuing the static noise for about ten minutes...

((Survival roll!))

Merchant seems to know where he's off to, not once losing his whereabouts of the sound... while Stefan deftly avoids branches to the face, but pretty much has to tug on Merchant's turban thing the whole way through. Eventually, they find their way out of the brush... for a whole new experience.

A spectacularly large bulb, the kind you would see on an Ivysaur, sits in front of them, spewing spores straight upward. This is an incredibly thick stream of spores, to be sure; and it all wafts straight up, toward a canopy covered in fungi and other odd-looking growth. Inside the stream, there appears to be a tall structure? The top is flat, like a weird column, with the bottom of the top part covered in fungi as well.

Stefan pauses, holding a sleeve over his face to avoid breathing in any spores if he can help it.

"Any ideas?"

"Merchant is hesitant to get close enough to breath it in. Do you know a pokemon like this?"
He scans the room, attempting to spot movement among the plants.

Merchant spots some rustling on the other side of the bulb... yes, more of these grassy Pikachu. They still seem to be fleeing...
