As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Merchant drops out of the tree, quickly tossing out a pair of pokeballs, summoning Meganium and Koffing.

"Fatal system Error, Reboot Required."

And with that, Merchant collapses into Sleep mode. Meganium and Koffing look at him baffled.

Bem has but a fraction of his energy drained(took 13 damage) but combined with the hit earlier, Reya decides to switch him out for a well deserved rest. She releases Dorath(spd 11) who is in a better mood than the days prior, these were the kind of emotions he enjoyed. He sends a ghost light blazing at Foongus A with a smirk.

Redcap once more skips to the side, not impressed at all by these poser shrooms. Jones on the other hand falls back, not wanting to risk another cloud of spores. But as he does, he stage-whispers towards Foongus A "Psst, hey, your roots are showing!"
Confide AC 2 [result]10&10,1d20,0,10&1d20[/result] -1 SA CS if it hits.

Redcap huffs again, and tackles A once more! He wasn't going to be shown up by some stupid little pig!

The Dunsparce gets drowsy, but not before casting a foul curse on Passat... (Spiteful Intervention activates, Passat's Hypnosis is Disabled)

The snake now falls asleep... curiously, still attached to the tree. (Sleep 11) Stefan's ball soars past it as it dozes off.

Redcap grunts as the Astonish makes contact; barely seeming to notice the Mega Drain (5 damage). Jones darts in, spritzing Redcap with a healing potion. The cracks in the Shroomish's cap seal together, but this time he backs off and fires a single seed at Foongus B (Leech Seed).

Dorath let's out a *hmpf*. He thought that would connect. Reya cheers (Inspired Training) him on even if he doesn't want it, "Don't worry about it. You'll get 'em next time". Dorath just rolls his eyes and tries to blanket the Foongus A with darkness.
