Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Merchant adjusts his optical receptors, and gets a better look at the tree!

There's a bright yellow Dunsparce hanging from the fronds.

Failing miserably, he calls out Passat. If there was something up there, the flying psychic had the best chance of fighting it.

"It's...a Dunsparce."
A...dunsparce? In the middle of a Venesaur? In a tree?

Merchant is baffled, and climbs up the tree to get a closer look at the strange creature.

Reya seeing savage drain and stiffening of Jones tries to distract the Foongus. "Hey! Leave him alone." She tries to step between the man and mon, hopefully it will give Jones a bit of time to breath.
Bem whiffs, still shaken up by those Binnacle. He follows with a Psywave, hoping to at least do something to Foongus B.

(Foongus Focus: 7)

The Foongus are a little stirred by the assault. Foongus B is a little hesitant to attack Bem, after that leer... so he goes after Redcap.

Merchant gathers his databanks on Dunsparce... concluding that they don't usually reside in trees. As Merchant begins to climb up the golden tree, the golden Dunsparce suddenly becomes territorial! It unleashes a burst of hot air at Merchant from its gullet! (Yawn)

Jones' muscles unclench for the moment, and he grabs out a Full Heal, quickly spritzing himself with it!

At least the Foongus had backed off of Jones for the moment. But now it was Bem who was hurting; the fright affecting him more than he would let on. She cheers(Inspired Training, Burn AP to give Excited) on the Spoink hoping to fire it up enough to shutdown one of the Foongus, "Come on Bem, these guys aren't so tough" Bem takes heart and launches a powerfull Psybeam at Foongus B

Psybeam Confuses on 19-20
