Theme Music is now mandatory As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid! While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder. A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush. Stefan approaches the tree, investigating it closely. Can he guess at what caused the damage? Pokemon education [result]14&6:4:4,3d6,0,14&3d6[/result] |

Merchant, truthfully, knew little about Pokemon. Instead he searches the area for living things indiscriminately, along with any potential archaic items. [result]15&4:4:2,3d6,5,15&3d6+5[/result] <Moreeee perception!> |

Stefan discerns the damage was caused with something by tiny claws. There's a bunch, so it must be something with a lot of energy... certainly not the work of a Slakoth or anything like that. Merchant notes some crushed grass and broken twigs leading straight out from where they entered... a Pokemon trail, definitely. |

Stefan follows, but some distance behind. "Careful. Something smaller, but ferocious lurks around these parts," he whispers. Stealth: [result]9&3:4,2d6,2,9&2d6+2[/result] Edited by Ursus the Grim, Sep 2 2013, 06:20 PM.

Both characters sneak along the trails somewhat silently; at least quietly enough as to not disturb anything around the trail. The two eventually crawl far enough to reach a clearing with a mid-sized stump in the middle. A small one, maybe seven meters large, but the light comes down perfectly around this place to illuminate the whole area. Atop the stump, the two spot a small yellow-green Pokemon... Seeing his chance, Merchant runs forward with Meowth. He tosses a pokeball over the Pikachu's head, dropping Slugma on it's opposite side. Meowth then slashes at it, and Merchant continues his capture attempting spree. "Pincer mouse in!"
