Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Gideon's hand hovers over Mjolnir's pokeball for a moment, before he shakes his head. Instead, he deploys Redcap!

Stefan glances at Merchant.

"I don't think we're getting any more out of him. I'll have Passat take another look, but perhaps a more fruitful venture would be one to the lock. After we get out of here and take a break, that is."

He releases the mirage creature, who promptly flies up, looking for another golden prize.

Merchant nods, recalling the Shiftry.

"Yes, Merchant agrees. We should find a place to bunker down though. Traveling so far to the lock while injured is too dangerous.

(Encounter: 50)

Once again, Passat immediately flies toward some target in the trees...

The Foongus rattle in anticipation. (Jones's move first)

Through some mysterious force, all the Trainers in the body let out a tired yawn.

Technically End of Day

Merchant hurries along as well. Seems sigilyph was more useful than shiftry would've been anyway

Jones darts forward, looking as if he's going after the middle shroom... and dope-slaps the shroom on the left!

The Sigilyph leads them for a short while... and the two find clearly what the glyph was leading them to. A large, golden palm tree in the middle of the thick forest of non-palms. It doesn't seem to be bearing any fruit...

Redcap, seeing his trainer take the initiative, huffs in irritation. No human was going to show him up! Trundling along in Jones' wake, he attempts to tackle the same Foongus that had just been hit.
