Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Stefan drags hiarelf out of the hole, gagging.

"That was disgusting."

Wiping some of the excess mucus on his pants, he sizes up the scene.

"Where the hell are we?"

Merchant comes out the end, his clothes drenched in...gunk. Gross.

Merchant scans the room.

"Merchant's guess would be the...stomache. Keep a guard up and your eyes open."

Merchant searches for the Apricorn, or any sign of life.

Stefan grunts in agreement. He had never paid attention in school, but this did not look like something normal. He calls Passat out, and orders the flying Pokemon to keep an eye out for an apricorn, or something golden.

Jones pulls out his medkit, prepares a couple of syringes and the potion bottle that he pulls out, empties and cleans carefully with an antiseptic wipe, and then carefully attempts to puncture the cyst in order to get a sample of the fluid. He uses a large needle, in order to maximize the amount of fluid he'll get, and instead of simply drawing back on the plunger, he attempts to jury-rig a crude equivalent of a blood-draw attempt directly into the bottle.

The brush is so thick, even Merchant can't see for anything... but Passat flies up and gets a better view. Immediately, the Sigilyph flies in one direction, humming excitedly... (Also any movement here is treated as Rough Terrain, unless you have Naturewalk Forest)

Whatever procedure Jones is using, it pretty much works. The cyst deflates a little, but he's able to get a full vial of the fluid out.

Merchant clicks as he looks up at the Sigilyph. He needed to get some kind of flying mount.

Regardless, Merchant begins to trudge his way through the brush, keeping a watch for what the Sigilyph saw.

Noting the nasty trek ahead, Stefan prepares to summon Porcino. He was too small for everyone to ride, but he could move enough to defend the duo.

Jones secures his spoils, before standing up. "Let's go and see if we can catch up to Stefan."

Pretty gross spoils but it might help them figure out some more about this place."Fine by me, assuming he didn't head back already." Reya heads back to the main room before heading down the passage Stephan had taken.

Jones nods, following after the girl.
