Theme Music is now mandatory As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid! While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder. A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush. Stefan's toss is quick, but Krieger is overzealous with his foot. The Amoonguss's face is smashed from the big dino's foot, and with a desperate roar, it falls backwards into the acid pit, passing out cold at the bottom. KO! EXP Some objects seem to splash from out of the acid muck... it's a few mushrooms. [result]3&1,1d1,2,3&1d1+2[/result] Tiny Mushrooms, [roll]1d2 Balm Mushroom(s), and a single Power Herb. |

Krieger gives Stefan a satisfied huff before he is recalled, lest the poison deal its damage. Stefan snatches up two of the tiny mushrooms. . . He knew a man who might be interested. He holds out the herb and balm mushroom to merchant. "Your choice. I think I could cultivate these on Porcino, but I don't have a green thumb." |

Merchant goes about collecting the Foongus swarm. He picks up the leftover Mushroom, and takes the White Herb from Stephen. "With some training, these shrooms will bud each day. However, Merchant does not have the time to train so many pokemon. Do you know someone who might?" As he speaks, he searches for an exit for the next chamber, in case they come back. The only exit up here seems to be the way back... but now investigating the acid pool, it seems a new way forward has opened up... a small downward tunnel at the bottom of the Amoonguss's acid bath. The body seems to have disappeared. |

Merchant pulls out an antidote. Convenient. "Give Plant a moment and it can cure it for free." The Meganium seems rather enraptured by the Lairon's new body, and is nuzzling up against it. "Time before the gate closing is very short. If we do not leave now we will not make it out by nightfall and will spend the night here. Is this fine?" |
