Theme Music is now mandatory As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid! While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder. A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush. Jones contemplates the rocks for a little bit, before shrugging. He attempts to dis-assemble the pile to see what might be at the center. Something is obviously holding it together... Perception: [result]15&4:2:4:2,4d6,3,15&4d6+3[/result] |

Stefan backs up just a bit, noting the man was not wearing a mask. "Nothing down they way, Merchant. Jones and Reya went the other path. Hell of a totodile you brought me, by the way." |

Merchant, seeing Ursus appear, opens a pokeball and summons a Ditto. "Morph into his mask." The ditto unceremoniously shifts into a gas mask...with small beady eyes. Close enough. Merchant puts it on quickly, tired of the fumes. "Merchant believes the pokemon from Elm were quite well trained indeed." He thinks carefully. What SHOULD be that way in a real ivysaur? Jones and Reya get to work on the rocks. Underneath the pile is something that looks like a cyst... an inflated patch of flesh. Perhaps the stones were irritating it somehow. There's also a path past the rocks, which they can now see. Merchant discerns, from the anatomy, that this should be leading 'north'. The organs are a little messed up, but this should go toward the stomach. The way back is a conglomerate of the rest of the digestive tract, it seems. |

Merchant crawls through anyway. "Unless you wish to go through its bowels, Merchant believes this to be the better choice. This SHOULD lead to the stomach, where hopefully seeds or Apricorns will be. If not Merchant is going to go through plan B and awaken it." Entering the room, he carefully searches for another way in. [result]24&4:5:4:1:5,5d6,5,24&5d6+5[/result]perceptionnn |

Stefan follows. "I only found some grass Pokemon that way, but obviously things are somewhat out of sorts." |

The Cyst seems to contain some fluid... careful inspection reveals it to be filled with it. Not sure what kind of fluid it is from the outside. There doesn't seem to be another way out of here. But something Stefan failed to mention to Merchant was the giant Poke Ball looking thing that's dug into the center of the flesh. |
