Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

"I'm not sure." Reya catches a whiff of the rocks through the mask, "Ugh, Maybe the remnant of some disease?"

Jones and Reya aren't quite sure what these stones are... but they're smelly.

As they inspect the stones, one falls over to reveal something quite disturbing: a darker, golden rock with two heads sprouting from the top. They stare at the two trainers intensely with weird, pouty expressions.

Stefan pokes around the stomach, noting a good supply of bodies and bones, both Pokemon and human, partially dissolved in the muck. Looks like the acid once had great intensity, but now has mellowed out a bit. There's also signs of small ulcers scattered throughout the organ, but none compare in size to the one he passed on the way here.

While searching, Stefan comes upon a few ulcers that look out of the ordinary... in the fact that they look like Poke Balls buried in the ground, but much larger than the average ball.

Barnaby hurls one last ball at the Stantler, and the deer submits to the great capture! (15/Lax/Frisk/20 HP/1 Injury)

Stefan doesn't hesitate to try and extract the spherical objects causing the ulcers, though he takes care not to step on any exposed skeletons in the process.

Jones blinks in shock. "That... is one hell of a gallstone." He pulls out his pokedex to scan the mon and hopefully get some idea of what it is.

The colonel cheers at the acquisition of his new catch... then notices just how banged up he and his squad really is.

"Sketchtail, reverse track my scent; we're heading out of here. A good job was had by all!"

Barnaby would head to the entrance to the greenhouse, then further to the lobby of the pyramid. he had much to report; his superior would be pleased. And so would his party upon being healed

Stefan tries to hoist one of the spheres out... but upon touching it, he's instantly met with a point-blank burst of Poisonpowder! [result]14&14,1d20,0,14&1d20[/result] AC6

As he's blasted, a bunch of the spheres spring out of the ground, including the one he tried picking up. It looks like a horde of Foongus, at least four of them, are nesting here!

Jones scans the Pokemon, which continues to look at him with disdain. A quick scan tells him this is a Binacle, a newly-discovered Water/Rock Pokemon. The dex also says that the two heads typically choose to nest on a moist rock... EW.

Merchant stumbles through the spores, but luckily avoids inhaling any. He manages to grab hold of a dangling rope that his comrades left.

Sketchtail manages to get the scent back toward camp... (To the Antechamber)

Stefan shields his face instinctively from the spores, but is protected by his mask.

To defend himself, he summons Krieger!

(Both have Speed 5)

Jones steps back and looks to Reya. "You want to take a chance on this guy?"
