Theme Music is now mandatory As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid! While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder. A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush. Entering the Greenhouse, Jones looks around. "I'm afraid that I'm not sure where this bulb may be, so we're probably going to need to wander some. s for your proposed idea earlier Reya, it may be a good idea for you to stand watch while I delve into the bulb, in case I wake something up." Jones was probably right. Staying out of the way should work out and the training would be superfluous. Besides who said he would even wake it up. Reya likewise scans the dense foliage though with little success. She was still trying to grasp the variety of habitats within the ruins. The bushy paths certainly look familiar to Jones, who navigates clunkily through the brush. Surprisingly, Reya doesn't trip on as many sticks and stones as him. Eventually, the two come upon a familiar-looking clearing (to Jones, at least). The bulb is close by... but it's hard to discern which direction. |

Jones looks up; trying to find a trace of the mass of fungal pods that Stefan had mentioned were above the bulb. Perception: [result]19&3:5:6:2,4d6,3,19&4d6+3[/result] Survival: [result]13&6:5,2d6,2,13&2d6+2[/result] |

With a snap of remembrance and perseverance, Jones cuts a quick path through the jungle back near where the big bulb was, pushing some stray Paras out of the way. The big bulb certainly earned its name; it still towers over Jones and Reya, spewing spores at an alarming rate. |

Jones nods decisively. "Right, I'm going in. Reya, keep a sharp eye out please." With that he once again dons his dive suit, hanging his pokeballs on his pack for easy access (and making sure Redcap's is the first in line) and will attempt to scale the Bulb, heading for the top. Jones lightly, delicately scales the massive flower... the spores can't affect him, but staring into the top is still a blinding experience, and Jones still tears up just from the scent. |

Making sure to breath through his mouth and exhale through his nose to minimize taking in the scent that is making its way even through the seal on his suit, Jones begins to climb down into the cavity of the gigantic plant. Jones slides down the vertical bulb a little faster than he would have liked... the inner surface is slick with spores and plant matter. Though he can't see it, he eventually does hit a bottom. It felt a lot taller than the outside did, though. |
