Theme Music is now mandatory As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid! While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder. A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush. The Paras crawl over to their hero... there appear to be about seven left. In a split-second, they all crawl up his legs, attaching themselves to his pants. They aren't attacking, just attaching to their hero for safe transport, it seems... |

Jason watches the Paras for a moment before standing up slowly and looking around once more. "So where are you guys headed?" Maybe taking them to where they want to go, he'll find something else good to fight and train on. |

The Paras all point a claw toward the same direction... right down the clearing, where they were originally headed. |

Can't argue with a unanimous decision, now can you? Jason began to walk towards the clearing once more, looking around again wondering what it was exactly that they were looking for here and hoping that something else good would pop up. Perception: [result]8&3:5,2d6,0,8&2d6[/result]-1 |

Walking along the clearing, the soil is damp as ever... more holes can be seen around the area. Clearly, the Nincada knew this place as a fertile hunting ground, and there's a good chance that one wasn't the only bug around this area. The Paras grip Jason's legs tight as he proceeds... |

Feeling the Paras clamp on a bit tighter, Jason glances down to them and looks to Angel. "Don't worry guys. I'll protect you from whatever is here. Whenever they pop up...unless they are too scared." Percep: [result]19&19,1d20,0,19&1d20[/result]-1 |

Jason, thinking highly of his abilties, is quite surprised when he trips over one of the aforementioned holes. As his body hits the ground with a thud, he feels a sharp jab at his ankles! It seems two more Nincada have emerged from the ground, angry at Jason for ruining their mounds... |

Looking to the Nincada that popped out of their holes, Jason sighed a bit. The last one was sort of a pain to deal with, now there are two more. Quickly, he got to his feet and looked towards Angel. "Guess it's time again, friend." With a nod, Angel channeled some energy towards Jason who slammed his fist on top of one of the bugs. Angel: Helping Hand. Jason: Chip Away [result]4&3,1d20,1,4&1d20+1[/result] |
