Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Inei, Net in hand, draws closer to the spider Pokemon, until he is within range, trying to bag it with the Hand Net.

The Spinarak easily goes into the ball, what an easy capture. (10/Desperate/28 HP)

The other six Spinarak look down upon the ninja and his bee, unsure if they should attack or not.

Inei looks up and looks at the Spinarak. If none of them actually make a move, he will orientate himself, seeing where he is.

Deciding to name the caught Spinarak Uiba, he praises Yari:"Good Job, you did well."

This overgrown wilderness is incredibly familiar territory to Inei, and such a place would be filled with smaller Bugs like Spinarak, which means stuff like Caterpie, Sewaddle, Wurmple, Venipede, all that would have a decent chance of showing up. Lesser Grass-types like Bellsprout, Seedot, and Budew would also be pretty common.arks on the trees suggest some violent Pokemon may also inhabit this area, such as Pinsir, maybe Scyther and Heracross too. A place like this would also have a wide variety of basic Berries, most likely Oran, Cherry, Leppa, and Sitrus, but anything goes in a place like this.

As he considers the possibilities, Inei doesn't notice a Spinarak moving closer... the spider attempts a snipe with Poison Sting! [result]10&10,1d20,0,10&1d20[/result] [result]22&4,1d8,18,22&1d8+18[/result]

Inei turns to the bug, a cold glint managing to enter his eyes, something feral he had last felt at the mountain, awoke within him.

"Yari, bash it."

If Spinarak can be reached from the ground, with a combination of running/jumping:
Spoiler: click to toggle

If Spinarak can't be reached:

Yari tries to use it's significantly larger body mass to squash the spider underneath it's stinger.

If Inei could reach it of course:

Inei's kicks connect, rather solidly with the knee, and another good hit with the rest of the leg, sure to jumble the bug's physical world a little bit.

The Spinarak is squished against the tree by the rigid knee-ing, and splotches of green goo are scattered around it on the bark. Seems like its legs are broken.

It shrieks out in pain, which causes the other Spinarak to scatter, thinking their fellow spider has been slain.
