Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Stefan's landing isn't graceful, but he plops on his behind with no injuries. In this pit, Stefan learns of what was making the noise: a duo of Parasect, brown in coloration, claws at the ready. They look ready to slap Stefan and his two Pokemon around something fierce.

With no quick way out of the hole, Stefan seems a little trapped.

Two of them? Well, it takes two to tango.

"A little help here, guys?"

Stefan calls for his pokemon to cover him. Schlamm drifts to the hole, firing a Smokescreen centered on the trainer. The trainer himself doesn't move from where he landed, not wanting to antagonize the parasect any more than he already has.

The two Paras take the Smokescreen as a signal to go, and charge forward! Unable to see, however, they begin attacking random targets in the smoke.

Not wanting to get stuck down there with the angry parasects, Stefan tries to climb up in the confusion created by the smoke. Meanwhile, the Koffing drifts in between the parasects and puffs out Poison Gas to poison the bugs.

Jason pulls himself onto shore on the other side of the rock wall, wrapping himself in a bandage.

Try as he might, Stefan cannot quite climb out, though the wall isn't steep enough to keep him in forever. Both Paras continue swinging wildly at random targets!

Parasect A Fury Cutter on Stefan: [result]3&3,1d20,0,3&1d20[/result]-3 [result]31&6,1d8,25,31&1d8+25[/result]
Parasect B Fury Cutter on Schlamm: [result]10&10,1d20,0,10&1d20[/result]-3 [result]26&1,1d8,25,26&1d8+25[/result]

Jason is able to hoist himself up... there's no way the Boldore would pursue him this far. Looking up at the skylight, it looks like night is falling pretty quickly, and the greenhouse is getting a little dark.

Jason's Pokedex also begins beeping, as if receiving a message.

Stefan, not one to give up, continues scrabbling at the sides of the pit as one of the claws comes uncomfortably close to his boot.

Meanwhile, Schlamm attempts to distract them, puffing out Smog at the two bugs.
