Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

The lone Paras is hit, but the blast doesn't seem to do much damage. It retaliates by sending another blast of Stun Spore at the Koffing! [result]11&11,1d20,0,11&1d20[/result] AC11

The space under the rock seems to go farther than it looks... of course, it grows darker as well.

As soon as Jason gets under the rock, his hand raises to the top to keep a hand on the rock for guidance as he swims further.

The rock provides an ample guide for Jason... until the rock starts sloping down, dragging Jason in deeper. (Survival)

The darkness of the cave doesn't deter Jason from keeping his cool, and he is able to navigate himself through the darkness...

Soon enough, Jason sees some light at the end of the darkness. Turning a corner, he comes upon a small cavern with glowing crystals on the sides! A good portion of this cavern is above water, with a mid-sized platform square in the middle of the space. The whole cavern is generously lit up with these crystals.

Quickly, Jason swam to the surface and looked around slowly before moving to the platform in the center of the lake. He removed the respirator from his mouth to suck in some fresh air before stretching and figuring out where he was.

The scenery around is completely unfamiliar, but the crystals are beautiful... aside from the platform, there's not much else of note here. There's another underwater exit on the opposite side of the cavern.

Atop the platform, there are three medium-sized boulders with some crystals growing out of them.

Jason looked at the boulders and began to climb them, hoping to get some of the crystals on top to fund further expeditions.

Jason easily scales the boulder, but the crystals look like they're lodged in there pretty tight... (Athletics)
