Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Jones chugs down the other Enriched Water that he brought with him, and then bends down to collect all the pokeballs he's thrown, including the pieces of the one that nearly worked. After that, he releases Inferno alongside Digger. "Good work, both of you. That was a hairy situation, and you both went well above and beyond. Here." He sprays down Inferno with a potion first, and then produces a pink treat for Digger, and an orange one for Inferno. "Well then, let's head back to camp. I think that Fir may be interested in this fellow after the way he shook off your fire attacks Inferno." He'll recall both his mon, and head back towards the entrance, and from there, to the base camp. Along the way, he'll see if his pokedex can sync with the pokeballs on his account and do a scan of the Sunflora from inside the ball.

The naturally-spicy flavor of the orange treat pleases Inferno, and Digger is indifferent toward the sweetness of his.

Jones limps back the way he came, keeping one eye out for anything else of possible interest he may have missed earlier, but mainly for any mon that may be looking to ambush him.

Provided he doesn't spot anything, or get ambushed, he'll head back to the base camp.

No ambushes... only a clear way back.

Entering the greenhouse, Merchant surveys the area before heading back to the massive bulb, gas mask firmly in place.

Stefan is not far behind, his mask likewise in use.

After a long while of mindlessly scouring the brush, the massive stream of spores is just about in sight... though once Merchant and Stefan set foot into the clearing, they spy something strange: a gaggle of five Bellsprout with white flowers adorning the tops of their heads. They seem not to notice the two explorers, and simply stare off into space with a blank look on their bulb-faces.

Merchant nods to Stephen.
"Ready?"
He has a pair of pokeballs in hand, Cat and a blank, ready to toss.

Stefan nods.

"I'm going to change up my routine a bit for this one."

On Merchants mark, he releases Keres.

Merchant throws the Meowth and the blank at the same time. The Meowth wastes no time, socking one of the bellsprout in the jaw moments before the pokeball flies towards it.

(Send out Meowth, who interrupts with Fake-out. Merchant then throws a pokeball.)
