Theme Music is now mandatory

As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid!

While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder.

A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush.

Krieger uses False Swipe again, this time getting on the opposite side of the Pikachu in an attempt to cut off their escape. . . because corning a wounded animal always goes well.

The very beaten-up Chu tries a last-ditch attack before escaping... while the healthy Chu covers the injured one by going for the trainer!

Stefan recalls Krieger promptly, collects his missed pokeballs and sits down heavily in the grass. What a rush. Krieger had finally had a chance to show off his durability, though Cat's attack power was also impressive during the fight. Taking a breath, he turns towards Merchant.

"Thanks for the pokeball. I'll add it to the tab. What say we head back and regroup, resupply and rest?"

"Yes. Supplies are low, and Merchant needs to liquidate."
Merchant collects the broken pokeballs, and hands Stephen his.

When Merchant opens up repairshop, you will need these."
With Meowth on his shoulder, Merchant begins the trek back to base camp.

The duo heads down the stairs... ((You can leave a post in the Foyer or just jump back to base, either way.))

Jones clambers up the stares, before stopping to look around in amazement. "This is incredible! He begins to look around for signs of pokemon, and possibly for any partially buried artifacts.
