Theme Music is now mandatory As the staircase rises further up, the vines become more frequent, eventually sporting a few bulbs and flowers here and there, with the natural light glowing ever brighter. At the very top step, the claustrophobic walls immediately cease, and give way to a wondrous place: A veritable jungle in the top of the pyramid! While the staircase is in a small clearing, most everything beyond a few meters is completely impossible to see through; all it is is brush and moss. The top of the pyramid (from the inside) is visible, and appears to be some kind of gigantic skylight, allowing the sun's rays to filter through to this natural setting. Scuttling through the brush, a heap of Bug Pokemon are visible from the get-go, but disappear as soon as they spot an intruder. A thin path can be discerned from the stairs, but it is incredibly thin, only a few inches wide. Going through the path, one would still be cutting through most of the brush. Arriving to the top of the staircase, Jason glanced around and took in a deep breath before exhaling slowly. He was right in coming up here, completely right. The stuffiness of the serious scientists and close walls. His eyes catch the scurrying bugs but pays them no mind, not wanting to deal with them for the time being. This was probably as close to paradise as things were going to get, but he still had his goals. Before long he began to walk through the patch, moving slowly an carefully, but keeping his eyes open. After nearly ten minutes of shuffling through the thin veil of foliage, Jason comes upon another small clearing, more toward the center of the gigantic greenhouse. Obviously, this chamber is big, gigantic, but it's hard to tell exactly how big it is. The foliage is so overgrown, the disciple can only spy the top corner of the pyramid. He's at least making it closer to the center, if anything lies there. In this tiny clearing, a fallen log and tree stump compliment each other in the center of the natural space. Tiny little Paras dot the horizon of ground and plant, but present no threat aside from genuine curiosity. Clearly, this place is populated by more than just overgrown flowers, but nothing so far has appeared hostile. |

Jason pauses once more and takes in a deep breath. This was truly amazing...there was no way that anyone knew that a place like this was within those catacombs. Everything was at peace and so serene. Even so, he didn't come to take in the sights and his eyes looked around once more, looking for anything that was willing to put up a fight and go toe to toe with him and with his best training partner so as such, he continued walking towards the center. |

Jason bypasses the small clearing, continuing on in some random direction... [result]3&3,1d3,0,3&1d3[/result] Edited by BatiroAtrain, Aug 29 2013, 02:52 PM.

Wandering through brush for nearly 20 minutes more, Jason finally comes upon another clearing! This space is very long, quite a bit larger than the other clearings, and the soil seems very soft and loamy. Scuttling can be heard from the left side, growing louder by the second... after a minute, the source comes out: a hoard of Paras scoot out from the jungle foliage into the clearing as well! There's about ten of the little guys, and they completely bypass Jason, continuing through the clearing. |

The Paras seem like they are running from something so Jason actually stops walking and turns to see where the Paras were coming from. He throws out his pokeball, releasing Angel and the two of them wait in the clearing, waiting for whatever comes out. Perception: [result]10&6:4,2d6,0,10&2d6[/result]-1 |

The Paras are indeed scuttling at great speeds, but it doesn't seem like anything is pursuing them. Regardless, they make haste down the clearing with nothing following. Maybe they're simply migrating... |

Well that was a lost cause. Jason turned once more and began to walk through the clearing once more. There had to be something here that was worth coming up here. Instead he walked towards the center of the clearing and took in a deep breath, looking around. |

As the disciples makes his way through the clearing, the Paras come back around into view. They seem to have slowed down since he last saw them. (Perception plz!) |
