Theme Music is now mandatory The hole Jason carved with his fist forms a perfectly circular entryway into a deeper galley of the pyramid... Oddly enough, a staircase descends into the room at the exact level of the Claydol carving's face. Those who step through are greeted with a monstrous chamber more regal than one would expect from an ancient civilization; gold and silver glyphs decorate the stone floor molding, and beautiful lanterns seem to replace the primitive torches from before. The room is essentially a trapezoid, with the ceiling a tad smaller than the floor. There are three large entryways into rooms of varying colors. To the left, there is a large metal archway with red runes painted on it. It seems a bit melted around the edges. To the right, two marble pillars surround an entryway with blue reflections adorning the ceiling, sparkling like an ocean. In the back of the room, there appears to be an entryway up as well. A spiral staircase seems to ascend into the entryway, which drips with vines and seemingly natural light. In the center of the room is a small hole, an entrance that looks like a sewer pipe. It has a ladder down bolted to the back. ((This is essentially a hub room, so feel free to split off to whichever way suits your fancy!)) Edited by BatiroAtrain, Mar 21 2014, 11:38 PM.

The grunt, face covered in blood, can hardly respond. "Cough... I don't know... we're just here to steal stuff... it's what us (cough) grunts do..." Jason also notices the giant red R on her black bodysuit. |

Looking to her once more, Jason sighed a bit before leaning down and picking up the grunt, heading back towards the research camp so she could get some medical treatment. |

Kindle charged into the foyer; without orders from Owen, the fox simply did his best to prevent the closest grunt from escaping until his trainer could catch up. Passing the engaged Jones and Reya, and Jason dragging his captured prize back towards the tents for interrogation, Owen tried to keep his breathing even as he jogged to rejoin his Pokemon. ------------ Owen Athletics [result]9&2:6,2d6,1,9&2d6+1[/result] Fire Spin (AC4) [result]4&4,1d20,0,4&1d20[/result] Damage [result]22&3:6,2d6,13,22&2d6+13[/result] I think that's against the one Kindle was chasing (Rocket A)? Unless Inei engaged that one, in which case Kindle will target the one Stefan was after. |

Inei instructs his Joltik to tie the robber up, seeing how the other one was handled very effectively by his compatriot. He then grabs the man by the neck, putting gentle force just below the bend a human jaw makes. If he increased the pressure, it would not only hurt, but also keep the man from moving much, making him easy to control. Inei also heads towards the base camp. |

OOC Kindle's fiery lash took too long to wind up and the grunt was long-gone by the time it landed; the fox marked where the crook was running, then waited patiently for its trainer. As Owen finally came charging and huffing into the Foyer, the Vulpix yipped excitedly and directed him to follow where Stefan had gone. |

The grandeur of the Foyer isn't lost on Kossa. He examines the entrances, thinking that if they correspond to types then he'd be best off making the red one a whole lot wetter. He proceeds down that hallway. |
