The behemoth pyramid stretches nearly fifty meters tall, with a long set of stairs climbing up the south side. From a distance, one can spy a good deal of light glistening in the stone hallway leading to the antechamber of the pyramid. Within minutes of setting foot on the clay stones that form the ground, the chattering of researches and gloating of treasure hunters fills any daring adventurer's ears.

The antechamber itself is stocked full of tents and lanterns, as well as the people who brought them. A research team of 50 people has decided to set up a base camp right in the mouth of the Clay Pyramid; close enough to tell the light of day, yet far enough into the stonework to feel overwhelmed by the tall tunnel they call home. A number of archaeologists have been painstakingly examining the Pokemon carvings that adorn the walls of the antechamber, while some of the laborers are taking an early break from clearing out the space for living. Lanterns are placed evenly around the chamber, and generators for laptops and machines are scattered about less frequently. From the wall opposite of the entrance, a massive set of stone double doors nearly 10 meters tall casts an ominous gaze on the whole party of researchers.

In the center of the base camp, a sign has been affixed to the ground, reading: "Explorers Needed! See Inside", pointing a large tent to the left. Rife, hearty laughter can be heard from inside.

After a half hour of hanging about and no sounds coming from the tent, or any sign of Fir, Jones grits his teeth and sighs. "Screw it, I might as well check one of the other rooms, and see what I can find real fast." He sets his hat on his head with a *thump*, and heads back into the tunnel.

Merchant briskly walks into the foyer, happy that he made out like a bandit. He scans the chamber, and is able to spot Stephen working with his pokemon.

He immediately approaches the man.

"Your final share of the loot."

Merchant hands a blue-marked ball to Stephen.
"Pokeball not included.
Net share with the cost of the two lent pokeballs removed, this one and the other, will be 400. Merchant can make more balls later if need be at 100 each."

Stefan considers the pyen offered to him and hands it back.

"Thanks, but I still owe you for False Swipe and the flashlight. That puts me 800 in your debt, as I recall. So keep it and I'll finish paying you back next trip."

He then pops open the pokeball, receiving a pleasant surprise.

Merchant shrugs. Whatever worked. The false swipe teaching was more for his benefit to help him capture pokemon than anything else.
He decides to find his own spot to train. He needed to do his own training with the new pokemon after all.

Right as Jones walks through the stone doors, Fir pops out of the big tent. "Only half of you are here? I thought I told you all to enter and exit as a group... well, never mind that." He looks a little distressed. "Where's the rest of the exploration crew?"

Merchant looks annoyed at the interruption.
"Jones just left. Other two took a different route. Maybe they died. Merchant does not know."

Stefan walks over to Fir, quickly recalling all of his pokemon.

"Ah, about that. Well, we split up to cover more ground quickly. But Merchant and I stuck together and felt we had gone farther than anybody else. When we returned to the entrance and didn't see anybody waiting, we figured they had gotten tired of waiting for us or presumed us dead. Jones came back, though. Its huge in there, and we'd all get lost if we tried to find each other."

Jones walks in a bit later, rather dirty, but looking somewhat pleased with himself.

Jason walks into the main camp and glances around but figures he should head to the nearest city to heal up his pokemon before trying to do any dealings.

Oz slinks into the antechamber stealthily.

Once everyone is back in the chamber, Fir approaches the troupe of adventurers. "Nice job today. We're gonna shut the big doors tonight, and open them up tomorrow when you guys are ready to go again."

With that, the doors shut, and the Pyramid is closed for the night.
