The behemoth pyramid stretches nearly fifty meters tall, with a long set of stairs climbing up the south side. From a distance, one can spy a good deal of light glistening in the stone hallway leading to the antechamber of the pyramid. Within minutes of setting foot on the clay stones that form the ground, the chattering of researches and gloating of treasure hunters fills any daring adventurer's ears.

The antechamber itself is stocked full of tents and lanterns, as well as the people who brought them. A research team of 50 people has decided to set up a base camp right in the mouth of the Clay Pyramid; close enough to tell the light of day, yet far enough into the stonework to feel overwhelmed by the tall tunnel they call home. A number of archaeologists have been painstakingly examining the Pokemon carvings that adorn the walls of the antechamber, while some of the laborers are taking an early break from clearing out the space for living. Lanterns are placed evenly around the chamber, and generators for laptops and machines are scattered about less frequently. From the wall opposite of the entrance, a massive set of stone double doors nearly 10 meters tall casts an ominous gaze on the whole party of researchers.

In the center of the base camp, a sign has been affixed to the ground, reading: "Explorers Needed! See Inside", pointing a large tent to the left. Rife, hearty laughter can be heard from inside.

The torch comes down, and the other half of the mural lights up, Baltoy and all...

Stefan, growing restless of trial and error, removes the torch from it's sconce again and attempts to use it to light any unlit torches in the hallway he can find. Tomb guardian or not, he came for adventure, not to stand around while the others scratched their heads. Once done spreading the flame he will put the torch back, hopefully for the final time.

Jones nods. "Right, that confirms it. We need to take down all the torches and find the other glowing symbols. If it doesn't glow, make sure you put it back immediately." He fits action to word and begins to take down torches nearby.

None of the torches in the hallway are unlit.

After about half an hour of messing with torches, all the glyphs thus far have glown without torchlight, save for the Claydol's face at the end.

Jason looked around for a moment before sighing. These people were too smart for their own good...thinking everything was a puzzle. "Has anyone tried a little bit of force to do something?" Slowly he walked towards the Claydol at the end, staring at the face.

Merchant taps his feet impatiently. Time was money, and time spent fooling around was...not money!

"Cat! Let's get Rock."

Hunting down a Geodude, he orders Meowth to pounce on it!
"Bite!"
The cat stares at him, not liking the idea of sinking its teeth into a giant stone pokemon.
"...if you want share of loot, you bite."
Somewhat grumpily, the Meowth jumps on the Geodude, sinking its fangs in.

"Good Cat."

Merchant throws out a pokeball at the staggered Geodude.

The Geodude, bursting out of the ball, can't do very much but glare at the cat that nearly broke its teeth on the rock's solid hide. It grumbles a bit at the cracks it left on its body...

"Cat, again."

The Meowth bites into it yet again, targetting the same spots as before.
Merchant follows with a pokeball yet again!

The Pokeball never even has to leave Merchant's hand, as the Meowth *rips* into the Geodude.
