Nymph is also a reference to an immature bug, like a grasshopper or cicada. |

True, but... it's bright pink and and covered in ribbons. If that's a bug type I'm eating my shorts, comfiness be damned. |

Those ribbons could just as easily be tendrils or antennae. Those 'bows' could be intentionally impersonating butterflies. That being said, my first bet is still Dragon and second is Poison. |

Oh, I'm not saying it can't be a bug, just that saying "IT HAZ NYMPH IN IT!1!" looks kinda silly. Might as well say it has ninth in it too, so it must have something to do with numbers. ...does anyone actually know where the 'nin'/'ninf' in its name comes from? EDIT: I was looking at one of the images, this one in particular and I noticed that it appears to be using a move like Featherdance, suggesting it is flying. ...that, or it doesn't give a fuck about being hit by moves that use feathers to do damage. My bet is they purposefully made it hard to discern to build hype over people arguing. (Mostly kidding.) Though I will say the more I look at it the more it gives the feel of 'flying'. Normal I could also see if it's just supposed to have a Beauty theme, but I feel like bug or dragon is a stretch. I think if/when they do a dragon they'll go with something more...draconic. Fangs and scales and such. Edited by Anonyman, Feb 13 2013, 10:11 PM.

I wonder if they are throwing Formes onto Eevee in addition to evolutions, a la Rotom or Deoxys. This could be the first of a set of Contest formes. It could also be doubling up on Eeveelutions for each Type. Excessive, but I'll bite. |
